Abstract:
A sealing system includes a gate (2) which is pivotably mounted to a crank (3) which is mounted for rotation with shaft (1). A spring (5) is disposed between gate (2) and crank (3). The gate (2) includes an O-ring (6) which compresses and slides during closure.
Abstract:
The object of this invention is to provide a hinge device for camera-equipped mobile phones, and a mobile phone having such a hinge device. The hinge device allows the fold of a mobile phone to be automatically opened or closed relative to the main body, and allows automatic rotation of a digital camera of the phone. The hinge device includes a fixed hinge part (130), a rotary hinge part (110), a power generating means provided in the fold to generate a rotating drive force, an internal rotor (106) provided in the rotary hinge part, a camera (104) provided in the internal rotor, a rotation stop means for stopping rotation of the internal rotor and rotating the rotary hinge part using the rotating drive force, and a power transmission means connected to both the power generating means and the fixed hinge part to selectively perform power transmission.
Abstract:
A control panel, which might be enclosed within an openable housing, can be movably supported on a pivotable support structure. The support structure which incorporates one or more pivot points facilitates movement of the control panel from a normal operational position to a displaced maintenance/service position the control panel can be moved both arcuately and linearly on the support element.
Abstract:
A window stay is provided for mounting a window in a window frame. The window stay comprises a bar member for connection to the window, a track member for connection to the window frame, a slide member slidably mounted on the track member, and a pair of arms for moving the bar member to a closed position and to an open position. The pair of arms comprise a first arm connecting the track member to the bar member and a second arm connecting the bar member to the slide member so that the bar member overlies the track member in the closed position and is slidingly moved away from the track member in the open position. A projection is disposed on the bar member and has a side surface extending in a longitudinal direction of the bar member. An insert groove is formed at an end portion of the track member for receiving the projection when the bar member is in the closed position. The insert groove has a guide wall for guiding the projection into the insert groove and a side surface extending in a longitudinal direction of the track member.
Abstract:
An opening and closing control mechanism for the project window which mainly comprises a slide frame, a slide block, a retaining block, a pivoted force arm, a carrier arm, a support arm and a connecting arm in an effort to improve the carrier arm which works as a fixed pivot at the near end of sash to be able to bear the pushing load. The retaining block, combined with the slide frame, enhances the structural stability of the sash as well as the smoothness of opening and closing movement.
Abstract:
A window actuator for a casement window has an actuator housing having a generally channel shaped receptacle portion defined by a rear wall, a front wall generally parallel to the front wall, and two end walls spaced to form therebetween a hollow interior with an open top surrounded by an outwardly extending peripheral flange and a base plate extending from the rear wall beyond the open top for mounting on a window frame. A worm housing is connected to and extends outwardly from the front wall of the housing and holds, by a plastics locking member threaded into the worm housing, a worm which is rotated by a manually actuable crank to drive a rotatable wheel mounted within the hollow interior. The wheel has an outwardly extending portion connected by an arcuate pivotal link to an actuator arm pivoted at its inner end on the base plate and arranged so that in the extended position of the arm, the link goes overcenter against a stop on the housing. The wheel is mounted on a mounting pin by an integral plastics bearing member including an annular sleeve portion projecting through the opening and having an inner surface surrounding the pin and an outer surface engaging the opening in the wheel, a planar plate portion lying between and in contact with one side surface of the wheel and one of the front and rear walls and a locating portion for engaging the wheel to prevent relative rotation between the wheel and the bearing member.
