The clip is shaped and sized for clasping past an end coil of the torsion spring and operatively engaging with the same so as to securely mount the plug onto the end portion of the torsion spring in a clip-like manner, thereby enabling the plug to be mounted onto the torsion spring quickly and easily.

An Overhead Doorstop Shock Absorbing Device for Freight Truck Doors as shown in FIG. 1 performs as follows. The overhead door is opened and moves upward until it meets the Overhead Doorstop Shock Absorbing Device, which then absorbs the energy through its springs, thus preventing the overhead door from overextending. This absorption of energy minimizes wear and reduces damage to springs, cables and rollers in current state of the art overhead door assembly systems. This greatly increases financial savings by reducing part consumption, labor costs and downtime. Due to the high usage of current state of the art overhead doors in freight trucks, problems will continue for the users. By the addition of the Overhead Doorstop Shock Absorbing Device, repairs are minimized and costs are reduced due to the ability of the device to absorb the energy that would otherwise damage the current state of the art overhead door systems.

A by-pass shower door system has a compression mounting system including a horizontal header and curb and upright jambs. The header includes a header rail with parallel tracks for slidably mounting the door panels and a threaded header expansion assembly. The curb is mounted beneath the header and includes two curb rails and a threaded curb expansion assembly coupled to the curb rails. The compression assemblies have threaded shafts that engage nuts mounted to the rails such that adjusting the compression assemblies (by turning the shafts) applies a compressive force on opposing end walls of a shower enclosure to mount the header and curb. A cap overlapping the header rail conceals the header expansion assembly. A center guide, having parallel tracks for bottom ends of the door panels, conceals the curb expansion assembly.
