Abstract:
A window lift mechanism is provided that includes a mounting member and one or more guides which may be integrally formed with the mounting member. The guide includes a cross-sectional shape and defines a path along which the window panel moves. A glass bar assembly is supported on the guide and is movable relative thereto along the path. The glass bar assembly includes a glass bar that supports the glass panel and a drive block that moves relative to the glass bar in a direction transverse to the guide path. A drive mechanism, which preferably includes a worm gear and a drive motor, is supported on the mounting member. The drive motor and the worm gear are supported by a support and a bracket, which are integrally formed with the mounting member. The worm gear is received within a threaded aperture in the drive block. The drive motor rotatingly drives the worm gear to move the glass bar assembly along the path defined by the guides. Movement between the glass bar and the drive block accommodate the curved motion of the glass bar and window panel as it is raised and lowered from the door. Clearance is provided between the glass bar and the guides to permit movement of the window panel.
Abstract:
The device comprises a screw which turn allows adjusting the distance between the rail of the power window device and the inner portion of the door and it is surrounded, at an end thereof, by a first adjusting through block and formed integral to the door of the motor vehicle, and a second adjusting block for roughly adjusting or tightening the thread inwardly which is fixed to the power window device, the opposed end of said screw being threadingly received to the rail of the power window device. It allows adjusting of the window pane in a very simple manner, with a highly reduced cost of production and with a considerably strong mechanism which, in turn, allows a fine adjustment of the lateral distance of the assembly of the power window device.
Abstract:
A window regulator cable assembly method and system includes a window regulator cable arrangement having a cable drum wheel, a first top pulley wheel, a first bottom pulley wheel, and a cable. The cable drum wheel, the top pulley wheel and the bottom pulley wheel are in a spaced apart relationship. The cable is mounted to provide cable runs between the wheels. At least one wheel is spaced from another wheel by a semi-rigid tube that surrounds the associated cable run. The semi-rigid tube is under an axial load to maintain tension in the cable. The wheels are pivotally mounted in a rigid spaced apart relationship on a rigid frame to remove the axial load from the semi-rigid tube.
Abstract:
A window lifting and lowering apparatus that includes an arm pivotally moved to lift and lower a window of a vehicle. A cycloidal speed reducing mechanism is used for transmitting a rotational force of a drive shaft to the arm at a reduced speed. The cycloidal speed reducing mechanism includes a ring gear disposed in a fixed state, a planetary gear eccentrically rotated in a state of being brought into mesh with the ring gear by the rotational force of the drive shaft, a rotating disk for transmitting rotation of the planetary gear to the arm, and a stopper gear fixed to the ring gear for restricting a pivotal movement position of the planetary gear. In accordance with the eccentric pivotal movement of the planetary gear, a stopper pin provided on the planetary gear is made to impinge with a stopper projection provided on the stopper gear.
Abstract:
A driving motor (1) for an actuating drive having improved jamming protection of a closing part, e.g., a window pane (2) of a motor vehicle. The closing part is adjusted via a transmission, e.g., a cable drive drum (3, 4). To avoid over-dimensioning of the driving motor (1), a variable transmission is provided that delivers a substantially constant load on the driving motor (1) over the entire adjustment path of the window pane (2). Thereby, a design of the driving motor (1) to cope with an increased load, which would otherwise be caused when the closing part slides into a closed position, is avoided. In addition, since the closing part approaches the closed position with a lower speed, the closing part is able to brake rapidly, if necessary. This results, e.g., in an improved jamming protection function of the closing part.
Abstract:
An automotive windowpane support structure includes a slider bonded to an inner surface of a windowpane with an adhesive. The slider is vertically movable along a rail member. The rail member is divided into and comprised of two parts, an inner guide and an outer guide. The inner guide is provided at a sash portion of a door. The outer guide is provided at a garnish provided opposite to the sash portion and supports a side portion of the slider protruded from an edge of the windowpane. The garnish is provided such that its outer surface is flush with an outer surface of the windowpane.
Abstract:
A window lift mechanism for raising and lowering a window in a vehicle door includes a support bracket mounted to the window and a motor supported on the support bracket, wherein the support bracket permits the axial and rotational movement of the window relative to the support bracket. A pair of parallel, vertical racks are mounted to the door and are positioned immediately adjacent to the window. A worm gear is driven by a worm with a lead angle greater than seven degrees coupled to a motor. A clutch mechanism is utilized to prevent back drive of the worm/worm gear system. The worm gear is operatively coupled to a pinion gear with resilient shock absorbers that are provided with notched surfaces to accommodate for compression of the resilient material with an enclosed space.
Abstract:
A vehicular power window regulator wherein flexibility required when a door glass is vertically moved is appropriately provided to a connected area of a guide rail where a main arm and the door glass are connected to thereby prevent working forces such as compression and tension generated due to lack of flexibility at the connected area according to the prior art from being generated, and to avoid the main arm from being bent when the door glass moves along a curved route, and to prevent a sector gear from being applied with an excessive force for decrease of noise caused by gear meshing.
Abstract:
A vehicle window regulator including an elongate drive shaft having a drive axis, connected at spaced locations to first and second drive sprockets, each drive sprocket being connected via respective first and second toothed drive belts to respective first and second idler wheels, with each drive belt including a cursor for connection to a window glass.
Abstract:
The invention pertains to a guide track for a movable windowpane, especially for a retractable windowpane of a motor vehicle, with at least one guide element for the windowpane displaceable along the guide track. In order to create a guide track with compact installation dimensions and at the same time a sufficient length for guiding the windowpane during its movement, it is proposed that the guide track for movement of the windowpane be retractable at least on one side.
