Abstract:
A variable displacement vane pump includes, but is not limited to inlet and outlet ports in a pump body, a drive shaft rotatably mounted in the pump body, a rotor driven by the drive shaft and radially extending vanes slidably disposed in the rotor. A slide is pivotally disposed on a pivot and has a central axis eccentric to the axis of the rotor. Chambers are defined by the rotor, the vanes and the slide that are successively connected to the inlet and outlet ports. A resilient member is pivotally engaged with the slide and acts on the slide to urge the slide in one direction.
Abstract:
A hydrostatic positive displacement machine has a cam ring for adjusting the displacement volume thereof. This cam ring is guided in translation by approximately diametrically arranged outer circumferential surface segments on associated inner surface segments of a housing of the positive displacement machine.
Abstract:
A rotary internal combustion engine that includes a housing that defines an elliptical cavity in which a rotor is disposed. The rotor slidably supports a number of circumferentially spaced, radially disposed blades, with each pair of blades defining a chamber therebetween. The rotor is so rotatably supported in the cavity that the ratio of the intake chamber volume may be adjusted so that there is a minimum residual pressure on exhaust gases and the efficiency of the engine is increased as a result thereof.
Abstract:
A scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll fixed inside a housing, an orbiting scroll configured to orbit engaged with the fixed scroll, a rotary shaft configured to allow the orbiting scroll to orbit by supporting the orbiting scroll with an eccentric shaft eccentric from a main shaft, and a slide bush portion installed between a bearing of the orbiting scroll and the eccentric shaft and according to a rotational speed of the rotary shaft, configured to change a pressing force of the orbiting scroll applied to the fixed scroll by allowing an eccentricity to be changed by a gas load applied to the orbiting scroll.
Abstract:
A fluid machine, heat exchanger, and operating method of fluid machine. The fluid machine includes: a rotation shaft (10), a cylinder (20), and a piston assembly (30). The rotation shaft (10) and the cylinder (20) are eccentrically disposed relative to each other and an eccentric distance is fixed. The piston assembly (30) has a variable volume chamber (31). Because the eccentric distance between the rotation shaft (10) and the cylinder (20) is fixed, the rotation shaft (10) and the cylinder (20) rotate about their respective axes thereof during motion and the position of center of mass remains unchanged, so that the piston assembly (30) is allowed to rotate stably and continuously when moving in the cylinder (20); and vibration of the fluid machine is mitigated, a regular pattern for changes in the volume of the variable volume cavity is ensured.
Abstract:
A variable flow external rotor hydraulic machine (10, 10′) has an inlet (26, 26′) an outlet (28, 28′), a rotor set having a first rotor (58, 58′) mounted for rotation about a first rotor axis and a second rotor (68, 68′) mounted for rotation about a second rotor axis, the machine being configured as either a pump or a motor, in which at least one of the first and second rotor axes is movable relative to the other to vary a leakage flow between the rotors.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a vane pump (1), in particular a regulatable oil pump for a lubricating system, with a pump housing (2) with at least one housing tank (6) and with a vane rotor (11) disposed in the housing tank (6) mounted so that it can be rotated by means of a drive shaft (10) in the pump housing (2) constituting an axis of rotation (23) which provides a mount for vanes (15) in approximately radially extending fitting slots (14). An adjusting ring (27) is provided enclosing the vane rotor (11) and circumferentially bounding pump cells (26) which, by means of a cylindrical internal wall surface (31), can be displaced between a concentric position with respect to the vane rotor (11) and an eccentric position relative thereto, to which pressured is applied by positioning torques caused by the medium pressure and a positioning mechanism (47) in order to regulate a pressure level.
Abstract:
In a variable displacement pump, an outer peripheral surface approximately in an opposite side to a portion supported to an oscillation supporting point in a cam ring with respect to a pump shaft is formed as a convex surface portion holding a seal member brought into slidable contact with an inner peripheral surface of an outer case, and an inner peripheral surface of the outer case with which the seal member held to the convex surface portion of the cam ring is brought into slidable contact is formed as a circular arc surface around the oscillation supporting point.
