The gerotor gear assembly can include an inner and outer gerotor gear. The outer gerotor gear can be formed of a first material having a first coefficient of expansion. The interface plate can be mounted between the housing mounting surface and the motor mounting surface. The interface plate can receive the outer gerotor gear in an interference fit. The interface plate is formed of a second material having a second coefficient of expansion that is substantially equivalent to the first coefficient of expansion.

    摘要: Scroll members for scroll compressors made from one or more near-net shaped powder metal processes, either wholly or partially fabricated together from sections. In certain variations, the involute scroll portion of the scroll member has a modified terminal end region. The terminal end region may include an as-sintered coupling feature comprising a tip component that forms a contact surface for contacting an opposing scroll member during compressor operation. The tip component can be a tip seal or a tip cap received by the as-sintered coupling feature. The tip cap may be sinter-bonded or otherwise coupled to the terminal end region. In other variations, a terminal end region may comprise a second material including a tribological material that forms a contact surface. Methods of making such scroll members for scroll compressors are also provided.

    摘要: A stator for a helical gear device is formed from multiple rigid disks and support rings bonded to the disks. Each disk forms part of a profile consisting of radially equally spaced or opened lobes which interact with the convex portions of rotor lobes. The disks are arranged into a desired helical configuration and bonded to one another to form a disk stack defining a helically convoluted elongated chamber therein. The support rings are fixed concentrically against respective end disks of the disk stack. The rings are sized with an inside diameter substantially equal to the major diameter of the central aperture defined by the radially extending lobes of the rigid disks. As a rotor rotates and nutates inside the helically convoluted elongated chamber of the stator, it is supported at both ends of the disk stack by the support rings touching the tips of the rotor lobes. Thus the full force of the rotor's operational inertia is not borne by the disks alone, thereby increasing their life.

    摘要: The invention provides an accurate powder metal component having a body with opposed surfaces at least one of which has at least one projection of smaller cross-sectional area than the main portion of the body of the component. The distance from the free end of the projection to the opposite end of the component defines one dimension of the component that must be relatively accurate, in one embodiment to slide against and form a seal that inhibits liquid flow against another component of an assembly. In the manufacturing method, the powdered metal component is made by compaction to form the body including a projection at the end, is sintered and thereafter is reduced in the dimension between the end of the projection and the opposite end of the component by coining the free end of the projection so as to reduce the dimension to within a tolerance of the nominal specified dimension.

    摘要: In a compressor, a single refrigerant of hydrofluoroolefin having a double bond of carbon or a mixed refrigerant containing hydrofluoroolefin and hydrofluorocarbon having no double bond of carbon is used, and moreover a refrigerating machine oil containing an additive for suppressing deterioration of the refrigerating machine oil and an antiwear agent is used, the compressor including a sliding portion which is exposed to the mixed refrigerant and the refrigerating machine oil and which has a hardness of 47-55 HRC. Thus, decomposition and polymerization of the refrigerant and the refrigerating machine oil can be inhibited (i.e., occurrence of sludge can be inhibited), and antiwear property of sliding portions, e.g. vane and piston, of the compressor can be maintained. As a result, reliability of the compressor and the refrigerating cycle apparatus using the compressor can be ensured.
