Abstract: Apparatuses, systems and methods are disclosed including apparatus for a ventilation system for supplying air to a crankcase of an internal combustion engine. The apparatus can optionally include a housing, an air filter, a lid and a pressure relief valve. The housing can form a cavity and having an inlet and an outlet therein. The inlet communicates with the cavity and is offset from a centerline axis of the housing. The air filter can be received by the cavity. An outer circumference of the air filter can be oriented at an angle that is substantially tangent to the inlet. The lid can be attachable to and removable from the housing for selectively accessing the air filter. The pressure relief valve coupled to the housing and in fluid communication with the cavity.

Abstract: An oil treatment system for an internal combustion engine in one implementation includes an elongated dipstick tube defining a tube axis and a first flow passageway, a housing arranged on the dipstick tube and defining an internal cavity, an oil treatment apparatus disposed in the internal cavity, and a retainer coupled to the housing. The retainer may have a cylindrical body comprising an elongated first flow protuberance insertably received through the oil treatment apparatus to establish fluid communication between the oil treatment apparatus and the first flow passageway of the dipstick tube. The retainer comprises a cavity through which oil may be added directly to the first flow passageway of the dipstick which may be fluidly coupled to an oil sump of the engine. The oil treatment apparatus may be an oil filter. An oil treatment additive may optionally be added to the housing.

Abstract: In the oil lubrication structure that supplies lubricating oil to the transmission device, the oil lubrication structure includes an oil passage formed above a transmission device. The oil passage is formed by an oil groove portion and a plate member. The oil groove portion is integrally formed in a crankcase. The plate member is arranged in the crankcase so as to cover the oil groove portion. The plate member has oil dripping holes formed therein, and the oil dripping holes are opened at positions directly above the transmission device.

Abstract: An oil passageway structure for internal combustion engines includes a cylinder head having an inter-bearing wall fluid communication oil passage for providing fluid communication between a plurality of bearing walls to allow oil to flow therebetween. The cylinder head further includes a bearing wall oil passage branched from the inter-bearing wall fluid communication oil passage to supply oil to a bearing surfaces of at least one of the bearing walls. The inter-bearing wall fluid communication oil passage is defined in one of facing side walls. The bearing wall oil passageway is defined in at least one of the bearing walls. The oil passageway structure is thus made up of a reduced number of parts, can be assembled with a reduced number of man-hours, can lead to productivity growth, and is inexpensive to manufacture.

Abstract: An aspect of the invention is directed to a lubricating structure of an internal combustion engine for feeding oil from an oil pump to respective portions of the internal combustion engine where a balancer shaft is disposed in parallel with a crankshaft in a crankcase, wherein: a main gallery and an oil passage are provided in the crankcase so that oil can be delivered from the oil pump to the main gallery and the oil of the main gallery can be guided by the oil passage to pass through a bearing of the balancer shaft; and the oil passage feeds the oil that has passed through the bearing of the balancer shaft to a cylinder head.

The bulkheads provide a dual-wall structure that may enhance the stiffness of the cylinder block in bending and torsion. The bulkheads may also provide an oil drain to allow oil to directly drain through a hollow core of the bulkhead. An overflow outlet may be formed in an inner wall of a bulkhead. Abstract: An engine includes a cylinder, a rocker chamber, an air filter, a crankcase and a rocker chamber cover, wherein the rocker chamber cover is disposed above the cylinder. The engine further includes a cover plate, wherein the cover plate is located at the top of the rocker chamber cover, and the rocker chamber cover and the cover plate are spliced to form a separation cavity and a connection channel. According to the engine provided by the invention, the top structure of the rocker chamber is re-designed and the top space of the rocker chamber is sufficiently used so as to achieve the objects of optimizing a lubricating system and reducing emission, as well as reducing the manufacturing cost and difficulty.
