Abstract:
The inflation device comprises a syringe whose piston presents a thread. It further comprises a retaining mechanism for retaining the piston and comprising two half-nuts movable between a position in which they are spaced apart from the thread and a position in which they engage the thread, together with control members mounted to tilt relative to the syringe body. For each half-nut, the retaining mechanism comprises two resilient tabs pressing against the corresponding half-nut and against the syringe body. In addition, each of the control members comprises a finger pressing against the corresponding half-nut and adapted, when the member tilts, to press against one of two bearing surfaces carried by the half-nut and offset relative to each other in a radial direction of the syringe body.
Abstract:
In a compressor having a noise reducing apparatus capable of minimizing noise propagated to the outside of a casing, by constructing a bottom cap of a casing as a double wall structure and naturally filling oil inside the casing into the double wall, high frequency noise occurred at the bottom cap side can be efficiently excluded, and accordingly a noise absorption efficiency can be maximized.

A check valve assembly includes a plug having a first end and a second end spaced along a longitudinal axis of the check valve assembly. The check valve assembly also includes a first valve seat, wherein the first end of the plug sealingly contacts the first valve seat. A second valve seat is spaced from the first valve seat in a direction of the longitudinal axis. The check valve assembly further includes a resilient member between the plug and the second valve seat and a spring member urging the resilient member into sealing contact with the second valve seat and the plug.
Abstract:
An ambient air device configured to be worn about the wrist or to be affixed to a wristwatch. Embodiments enable an individual to conveniently activate the wrist ambient air device in order to limit the incursion of smoke or other offensive gaseous pollutants and contaminants into the individual's environing airspace. Embodiments of this device use a portable fan assembly to enrich an individual's ambient environment without causing a substantial disturbance to the airspace of adjacent or neighboring individuals. A plurality of lightweight, rigid or flexible fan blades may be actuated by a switch or the like which, in turn, activates a battery-operated motor for driving the plurality of fan blades that comprise the device. Other embodiments contemplate a plurality of lightweight, flexible fan blades affixed to a wristband or other external clothing accessory, suitably positioned to assure that an individual's airspace is healthy and clean.
Abstract:
An air compressor assembly having an air tank which, during air usage, continuously discharges condensate accumulated in the air tank into the compressed air being released. The air tank has an air outlet port at its wall, through which compressed air and condensate are released for use in air powered tools during air usage.
Abstract:
A blower includes a casing for receiving a motor therein and the shaft of the motor extends through an opening in a top surface of the casing. A blade assembly is connected to the shaft and a cover is fixedly connected to the top surface of the casing and has an air outlet. The blade assembly is enclosed by the cover. Two recesses are defined in an outer periphery of the casing and a handle is connected to one of the two recesses, and an air inlet is defined in an inside of the other recess of the casing.

Abstract:
To provide a gas compressor that is suitable for reducing cost for the overall compressor without degrading the oil separation performance needed for the compressor and that may keep the oil separation performance constant for a long period of time. An oil separator having a pipe structure composed only of a discharge pipe formed integrally with a side block as a means for separating a lubricant oil component contained in high pressure cooling medium gas is adapted. In this case, the discharge pipe is adapted to form a discharge route for the high pressure cooling medium gas without any bypass immediately before an inner wall of a compressor case from a first discharge chamber. The separation of the lubricant oil component is performed by collision of the high pressure cooling medium gas, immediately after discharged from a cylinder discharge port to the first discharge chamber, against the inner wall of the compressor case through the discharge pipe without reducing a high flow rate.
Abstract:
A reciprocating piston compressor having a suction muffler and a pair of discharge mufflers to attenuate noise created by the primary pumping frequency in the primary pumping pulse. The suction muffler is disposed along a suction tube extending between the motor cap and the cylinder head of the compressor. The discharge mufflers are positioned in series within the compressor to receive discharge gases from the compression mechanism and are spaced one quarter of a wavelength from each other so as to sequentially diminish the problematic or noisy frequencies created during compressor operation. The motor/compressor assembly including the motor and compression mechanism is mounted to the interior surface of the compressor housing by spring mounts. These mounted are secured to the housing to define the position of the nodes and anti-nodes of the frequency created in the housing to reduce noise produced by natural frequencies during compressor operation.
Abstract:
A compressor for refrigeration cycles, which is provided with a noise attenuation structure on the interior wall of the discharge plenum, is disclosed. In the compressor of this invention, a valve seat is covered with a head cover at its top to form a discharge plenum between the valve seat and the head cover. This discharge plenum temporarily stores a pressurized working fluid therein. The valve seat has a fluid inlet used for allowing an introduction of the pressurized working fluid into the discharge plenum, and a fluid outlet used for discharging the pressurized working fluid from the discharge plenum. A control valve is mounted to the valve seat so as to control the fluid inlet. A plurality of micro-projections are provided on the interior wall of the discharge plenum for absorbing and attenuating impact waves of the working fluid during an introduction of the working fluid into the discharge plenum, thus attenuating operational noises and vibrations caused by the impact waves. A plurality of spaces capable of capturing working fluid drops are defined between the projections and interior wall of the discharge plenum, thus absorbing and attenuating the impact waves of the working fluid during the introduction of the working fluid into the discharge plenum.
