    摘要: An oil suction propeller structure for a hermetically sealed compressor includes a rotor, a crank shaft pressure-inserted in the rotor, an oil guide piece pressure-inserted in a lower portion of the crank shaft, a lower wing fixedly inserted in the oil guide piece and soaked in an oil, an upper wing having a width thereof wider than that of the lower wing, and an intermediate portion extending from the lower wing and gradually broadening in width toward the upper wing. The oil suction propeller structure improves oil supply capacity, and minimizes a whirling sound and a dropping noise which may occur during the rotation of the oil guide piece and the oil suction propeller thereof, for thereby enhancing reliability of the hermetically sealed compressor.

    摘要: A long life rotor pump combination of the type having a liquid filled rotor that uses the liquid being pumped to establish hydrodynamic bearings within the rotor incorporates a pump which can be expanded to include more than one impeller, providing an optionally higher flow rate. Thermal isolation between the motor housing and the pump housing is assured by restricting heat conductivity through the physical structures and through the liquid. The rotor enclosure is formed with a number of engaging but not joined elements maintained under compression established by forces exerted in securing the encompassing motor housing.

    摘要: An improved compressor incorporates structure for facilitating the alignment of a suction tube with the motor stator windings. In one embodiment, the motor stator is provided with a protective coating such that the refrigerant entering the compressor housing through the suction tube does not damage the motor windings. In another feature, the chamber housing is bumped out in the location where the suction tube is mounted such that the distance between the radially inner end of the suction tube and the radially outer portion of the windings is increased. The above provides better protection for the motor windings in a sealed compressor wherein the suction tube is axially aligned with the motor windings.

    摘要: A radial blower, particularly for heating and air-conditioning systems for automobiles, has a spiral blower housing that is provided with an air intake (5) in a housing lateral wall and with an air outlet out of the spiral housing. A blower drive motor for a fan wheel is mounted to the housing with the fan wheel positioned in the spiral housing to face the air intake (5). The fan wheel has a fan ring with fan blades and a hub. The fan ring and the hub are connected to each other by a shell shaped vaulted or dished fan disk, which at least partly surrounds the drive motor. Fan disk openings (43) permit at least a portion of cooling air flowing through the drive motor to be discharged through the disk openings (43) into a blower air discharge chamber (23) in the spiral housing. The openings in the fan disk are formed to generate a negative pressure at these openings on a fan disk surface facing away from the drive motor whereby airflow through the motor is increased because the negative pressure draws more cooling air through the motor. The suction is further increased by streamlined hoods (61) covering part of the fan disk openings on the disk surface facing away from the motor. The increased airflow through the drive motor increases the service life of the blower and of the motor.

    摘要: A refrigeration motor compressor assembly has a housing including a lubricant sump in the bottom thereof into which the lower end of the drive shaft and associated rotor extend. A shield is provided which is positioned by the drive shaft and extends above the oil level in the sump in surrounding spaced relationship to the lower end of the rotor. As the rotor rotates within the shield, lubricant contained therein is thrown out of the surrounding shield and a close fit between the shield and the shaft restricts return flow of lubricant into the area occupied by the rotating rotor.
