Abstract: An apparatus includes a hydraulic circuit that is configured to selectively open fluid communication between one portion of the hydraulic circuit and another portion of the hydraulic circuit, such as a reservoir, based on the flow of the hydraulic fluid in the one portion. When the flow of hydraulic fluid exceeds a selected threshold in the one portion of the hydraulic circuit, the flow of fluid urges the opening of a hydraulic component of the hydraulic circuit to allow fluid communication between the one portion and the reservoir to discharge fluid from the one portion.

Abstract: A lock valve including a poppet valve element which is disposed within a spring chamber, a spring which biases the poppet valve element leftward, and a valve seat which comes into contact with the poppet valve element is disposed in a cavity formed in a valve body to mount a relief valve therein and is positioned further inward than the sleeve of the relief valve. The outer peripheral portion of the poppet valve element has hole portions formed therein at regular intervals. The outer peripheral portion of the valve seat, too, has hole portions formed therein at regular intervals. The valve portion of a solenoid valve is disposed between a passage which is in communication with the spring chamber and a passage which is in communication with a second flow passage open to a low-pressure region such as a hydraulic tank.

Abstract: The security unit ensures, by blocking the hydraulic flow, that the rod of a cylinder is held in position. It includes two preferably twinned isolation devices, each mounted on one of the hydraulic lines supplying fluid to a chamber of the cylinder. Each isolation device includes two series-connected ball-check valves allowing the flow in the direction of inlet of the fluid into the respective chamber; and a longitudinal, separate rod, inserted between the balls but not linked thereto, and capable of being slidably guided towards each of the balls and driving same. The rod is too short to contact both balls simultaneously when the two valves are closed; but it is sufficiently long to push the ball of the second valve, thereby causing it to open, when it slides under the pushing action of the ball of the first valve upon the latter being controlled to be opened.

Abstract: A fluid pressure control device includes a load holding mechanism that is configured to hold the load pressure of the load side pressure chamber. Abstract: A hydraulic excavator includes control valves connected to a head-side chamber of a boom cylinder, an operating unit configured to switch the control valves, lock valves each provided between the head-side chamber and each of the control valves, and an operation control unit that controls the operation of the lock valves. The lock valves each have a valve element that is configured to move between a locking position at which the discharge of hydraulic oil from the head-side chamber is restricted and an unlocking position at which the discharge of the hydraulic oil from the head-side chamber is allowed. The operation control unit controls the operation of the lock valves so that the valve elements move from the locking position to the unlocking position at different points in time when the operating unit is operated.
