    摘要: In a control valve of the vacuum booster, a valve portion is fitted with a valve cylinder to be slidably contacted with an inner wall of the valve cylinder, to form within said valve cylinder, a front annular chamber closed by a front face of the valve portion when the valve portion is seated on a vacuum introduction valve seat, and a read annular chamber, to which the rear of the valve portion is faced. The front annular chamber communicates with a first port, and the rear annular chamber communicates with a second port. An input rod is moved forward to separate the valve portion from an atmosphere introduction valve seat and to seat it on the vacuum introduction valve seat. Then, the valve portion is urged in accordance with the set load of a valve spring and the pressure difference between the front and rear annular chambers.

    摘要: A rotary disk valve for motor vehicle power steering systems includes rotary disk which is connected non-rotatably to a valve inlet element. A control bushing is connected non-rotatably to a valve outlet element. These two valve elements are disposed so that they are coaxially movable into one another and are rotatable by at most the amount of torsion of a dead travel coupling. The two valve elements have longitudinal control grooves, which interact with one another for controlling a pressure medium to and from two working areas of a servo motor and to a return connection for a pressure medium container. The rotary disk is connected via a torsion bar spring to the valve outlet element. The longitudinal control grooves of the radially internal valve element connected to the return connection are connected to an internal space of the radially internal valve element. The torsion bar spring is supported in this internal space via a roller bearing. The return from the inner space of the radially internal valve element to the return connection occurs through the roller bearing and through the dead travel coupling.

    摘要: In this invention, an idea is adopted in which the pressure at a forward portion and a backward portion of valve device is steppingly dropped twice. The valve device of the present invention includes, on the axis of a spool 600, a first valve 710 located nearer an inlet port and a second valve 720 located nearer an outlet port. A throttling area made by the second valve 720 is larger than a throttling area made by the first valve 710. For example, of all the pressure difference equal to 120 kg/cm2 or more reauired at the forward and backward portions of the valve device, a portion in the range where the problem of an occurrence of a foreign noise is not encountered (for example, a portion ranging from 100 to 120 kg/cm2) is undertaken by the first valve 710, and the remaining portion ranging from 20 to 30 kg/cm2 is undertaken by the second valve 720. By doing so, there can be eliminated such a pressure difference where a generation of a noise before and after an actual throttling (including a primary throttling made by the first valve 710 and a secondary throttling made by the second valve 720) can become a problem.

    摘要: An improvement of a reaction disc 25 and a valve plunger 8 disposed in a booster is provided. A recess 25a is formed in a rear end face 25b of the reaction disc while a projection 31a from the valve plunger 8 is loosely fitted into the recess 25a. When the break booster 1 is operated, the peripheral surface and the bottom of the recess 25a abut against the projection 31a, and the rear end face 25b abuts against the end face 31c of a plunger 31, whereby a brake reaction is transmitted to an input shaft 21. When an input or a force of depressing a brake pedal is reduced during the operation, a resistance is applied to a rearward retracting movement of the valve plunger 8 by the peripheral surface of the recess 25a. The invention allows the hysteresis to be increased without increasing the hardness of the reaction disc 25.

    摘要: A vacuum brake booster (10) has a control valve housing (30) for a control valve (28) actuated by a bar shaped input member (34). A guide sleeve (42) is secured to the control valve housing and has a slot (68) aligned with a vent duct (62) in the control valve housing. A sensing plunger (36) is axially slidable in the guide sleeve by the input member, and a transversely extending stop bar (66) is fixed to the sensing plunger. The stop bar extends through the slot of the guide sleeve and into the vent duct. To improve flow through the vent duct, edges of the slot form axial stops for the stop bar, so that the axial extension of the slot defines the maximum stroke of the sensing plunger. Where the stop bar extends into the vent duct, the vent duct is obliquely oriented towards a working chamber (26), and has an axial extension considerably larger than that of the slot.
