    摘要: A crankshaft oil supply structure includes: an upper engine block having upper end saddles positioned at both ends thereof and an upper crank saddle positioned between the upper end saddles; a lower engine block formed with a plurality of lower crank saddle; an upper end bearing formed with an end bearing hole and mounted on each of the upper end saddles; an upper main bearing formed with a main bearing hole and mounted on the upper crank saddle; a lower bearing mounted on each lower crank saddle of the plurality of lower crank saddles; and a crankshaft formed with an end journal supported by the upper end bearing, a main bearing journal supported by the upper main bearing, and a crank pin journal. In particular, the main bearing hole is larger than the end bearing hole.

    摘要: Systems and methods are provided for cooling a piston arranged within a cylinder of an engine. Oil received from a connecting rod bearing and crank journal interface may be continuously transferred via an internal conduit in a connecting rod coupled to the piston wherein the internal conduit is formed within a hollow flange of the connecting rod. The oil may then be sprayed in a continuous manner via an external nozzle to an underside of the piston, enabling continuous piston cooling as the piston travels from a top-dead-center (TDC) position to a bottom-dead-center position (BDC) and back.

    摘要: A main bearing for a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine has first and second half bearings forming an axial groove on an inner circumferential surface of a butting portion. Each half bearing has a main cylinder portion including a central portion, and crush relief portions each extending toward the central portion from an end surface of the half bearing with a center angle of 3° to 15°. A plurality of crush relief grooves are formed in each crush relief portion in the circumferential direction to communicate with the axial groove. An oil groove is formed in the circumferential direction on an inner circumferential surface of the first half bearing. The second half bearing has a transition region having an inward protruding curved surface a wall thickness of which becomes thinner toward the crush relief portion from the main cylinder portion.
