    摘要: A system for dampening vibrations in a vehicle is provided. The system includes a first heat exchanger core having a first plurality of fins, and a second heat exchanger core having a second plurality of fins. A vibration dampener is connected to the first and second heat exchanger cores. The vibration dampener extends through the first plurality of fins and through the second plurality of fins, while spanning the gap between the first and second heat exchanger cores. To accommodate the vibration dampener passing thorough the fins, the fins may be formed to define an enlarged aperture at a location where the vibration dampener passes through.

    摘要: A dampening mechanism includes a pair of coaxially aligned inner and outer components with ends disposed in telescoping relation with an interposed resilient elastomeric member comprising a monolithic polymeric structure comprising a hollow body within the end of the outer component, and receiving the end of the inner component with the body including an attachment portion secured to the outer component, and a support portion supporting the inner component. The body portion includes a plurality of equally spaced webs extending between the attachment portion and support portion. In one form, the body is generally cylindrical and disposed between the inner surface of the outer component and the outer surface of the inner component in telescoping relation and frictionally engaging the telescoping components.

    摘要: A resilient support device having a non-linear elastic characteristic, the device being of the type constituted by a body 1 of resilient material provided with two couplings members 6a and 6b for coupling firstly to a support 7 and secondly to a mass F to be supported, the coupling members 6a and 6b being resiliently linked together by two relatively rigid branches 8 and 9 of said body 1. The branches 8 and 9 are connected to each other by at least one resilient crosspiece 2 that is prestressed in traction and that is suitable for buckling when the force applied between said coupling members 6a and 6b reaches a predetermined value x.sub.3, the coupling deformation of the crosspiece(es) 2 being stopped by an abutment system 5 of relatively high stiffness. An application of the device is as an exhaust pipe support.

    摘要: A support for a rod-shaped article particularly microphones comprises a fork member, a partial annular fork having an engagement part and a encircling band assembly disengageably connected to the fork member at two axially spaced locations and defining two encircling bands engageable around the article at two axially spaced locations. The bands comprise alternate band link members which have substantially different shapes with one of the link shapes being constructed to engage the engagement part of the fork member. In one embodiment the link members are made of small and large configurations so that small configurations fit into an engagement recess of the fork member and in another embodiment the link members comprise tubular elements of diameters to engage over rod-like portions of the fork member.

The sleeves are split at their outer ends to form two flaps, one of which covers the exposed ends of the hooks to prevent injury to a performer inadvertently striking them, while the two flaps together are foldable back onto the sleeve to assist hooking and unhooking of the springs to and from the bed and the frame.

    摘要: The instant invention is comprised of a rope having a tensioncushioning shock absorber whereby the rope is passed through oppositely arranged openings in a rubber element which has high extensibility and resilience, said rope being firmly fixed to opposite points of said rubber element by means of clamps and abutments whereby the length of the rope section situated between the abutments is loosely wound when unloaded or lightly loaded and the axial length of said rope section corresponds to the maximum extended dimension of the rubber element whereby said loosely wound rope section is completely stretched out when under full tension load so that any initial shock is absorbed by the rubber element and the maximum tensile stress is absorbed by the rope.
