    摘要： The present invention has an object of providing a toothed cable 1 not to cause an unnecessary load on a motor or the like, not to cause tear in the cover layer and to have excellent durability. The present invention provides a toothed cable 1 comprising a core cable 2, and a tooth line 3 helically wound on the outer periphery of the core cable 2. The toothed cable 1 further comprises a cover layer 4 covering the outer surface of the core cable 2 and the tooth line 3 with a resin continuously. This toothed cable 1 has helical convex portions 41 formed by covering the tooth line 3 with the resin and helical concave portions 42 formed by covering intervals in the tooth line with the resin, and the covered layer 4 is in contact with the core cable 2 and the tooth line 3.

    摘要： A hydraulic apparatus for the operation of an elevator comprises a linearly extending hydraulic cylinder and a piston slidable therein. The piston has on its downstream side a plurality of pivotally interconnected thrust members the last one of which has a slide member which is provided with a support arm with which the slide member passes through a longitudinal slot in the jacket of a linear cylinder extending in a direction parallel to the path of motion of a load receiving device and to which the load receiving device is attached. The linearly extending hydraulic cylinder and the linear cylinder are open at the lower ends and the thrust members depend downwardly at the two cylinders. The thrust members have a continuous toothing and a gear supported rotatably between the two cylinders passes through longitudinal slots in the jackets of the two cylinders and engages with the toothing.

The configuration provides multi-dimensional support so that a roller chain assembly, typically constrained to tensile loading, may also be used for compressive loading. A method for transmitting force along a non-linear path includes configuring a raceway channel having an upper raceway surface and a lower raceway surface, securing a chain assembly into the raceway channel between the upper raceway surface and the lower raceway surface with at least one lateral securing mechanism, and applying a tensile or compressive force to one end of the chain assembly in order to have the chain assembly transfer the tensile or compressive force to the other end of the chain assembly.

    摘要： A drive apparatus includes a commutator motor having a hollow rotation shaft with an internally threaded section provided therein and a flexible power transmission cable inserted through the hollow rotation shaft such that a spiral thread-like rib of the cable engages with the internally threaded section of the hollow rotation shaft, whereby a propulsive force is transmitted to the cable to allow a window glass to be moved in a reciprocating motion. A guide roller with an intermediate section of the cable wrapped therearound is rotatably supported on a guide base to allow the passage of the cable. A curved guide section is provided relative to the guide roller to define a curved cable passage channel in a manner to cover a wrapped cable portion. The guide roller is rotated by the commutator motor through the cable, while the intermediate portion of the cable is pressed onto the guide roller.
