    摘要: A variety of shifter mechanisms are provided for controlling the axial distance between half-pulleys of a split pulley variable transmission, thus controlling the transmission ratio of the variable transmission. Some of these embodiments include a differential such that a variable transmission can be driven and shifted differentially by two inputs. A torque or rotation difference between the inputs results in a change in the transmission ratio and in-common torque or rotation is transmitted through the transmission to an output. The same motors used to drive the output of the transmission are thus also able to effect shifts in the transmission ratio. Accordingly, motor mass that is not being used to effect high-speed shifts may be used to drive the transmission output, and vice versa. The provided shifter embodiments are well-suited to application to nested-pulley variable transmissions, including nested-pulley infinitely variable transmissions.

The component includes: a V-shaped grooved gear, a pressure pump, a roller with a pre-formed groove and a transmission belt; the V-shaped grooved gear includes a central shaft and two frustoconical members mounted on the central shaft; lateral surfaces of two frustoconical members and the central shaft enclose a V-shaped groove; a gear is arranged on a circumference of a frustoconical member, and joined with an oscillating switch selectively; the transmission belt is configured to surround the V-shaped groove and the pre-formed groove; two frustoconical members regulate a surrounding radius of the transmission belt surrounding the V-shaped groove under control of pressure generated by the pressure pump; and the roller is fixed in an oscillating plate, and controls an oscillation amplitude of the home electrical equipment through the oscillating plate.

    摘要: A continuously variable transmission having an endless V belt running across a driving pulley and a driven pulley, a transmission ratio changing mechanism for changing the running diameters of the belt around the pulleys radially in opposite directions to each other, and a tension-adjusting unit for pressing the belt to obtain belt tension. The tension-adjusting unit includes a tension roller coming into pressure contact with the slack side of the belt from outside, a swing arm having an end rotatably supported on a transmission case, a link member having an end rotatably supporting a shaft of the tension roller and another end rotatably coupled with another end of the swing arm, and an urging member for swingingly urging the swing arm so that the tension roller presses the belt. A linkage structure having two degrees of freedom is used for supporting the tension roller, so that the tension roller can automatically move to a position where it does not interfere with either pulley at any transmission ratio.

    摘要: An automatic transmission system having a belt type infinitely variable gear is housed in a transmission casing. The transmission casing is formed of a torque convertor housing portion in which the torque convertor is housed and an infinitely variable gear housing portion in which the infinitely variable gear is housed. A forward-reverse switching mechanism is provided between the torque convertor and the primary shaft of the infinitely variable gear and is supported on the torque convertor housing portion. Opposite ends of the primary shaft of the infinitely variable gear are supported on support portions respectively formed on the infinitely variable gear housing portion and the torque convertor housing portion, and opposite ends of the secondary shaft of the infinitely variable gear are supported on support portions respectively formed on the infinitely variable gear housing portion and the torque convertor housing portion.

    摘要: A variable speed transmission in which the output speed is infinitely adjustable within a given speed range and is accurately controlled. The variable speed transmission includes two pulley assemblies that are rotatably connected by an endless chain, control levers and a control screw for varying the effective pitch radius of at least one of the pulley assemblies and the associated chain. The output from one of the pulley assemblies serves as the elliptical ball bearing assembly input that serves to deform a nonrigid external gear of a flexible gear assembly. The output from the other pulley assembly through gears controls a round rigid internal gear that intermittently meshes with the nonrigid external gear. This arrangement provides extremely accurate speed control of the output from the flexible gear assembly that comes form the nonrigid external gear. The pulley assemblies, the endless chain, control levers, and the flexible gear assembly are located within the same compact hollow unitary housing.

    摘要: A continuously variable transmission belt guide is mounted next to a driven clutch assembly and in close proximity with the CVT belt at the CVT's lowest drive ratio. The CVT belt connects between a pair of moveable sheaves of the drive and driven clutch assemblies to provide a variable CVT drive ratio between a lowest drive ratio and a highest drive ratio. When contacting the CVT belt, the CVT belt guide prevents a ripple or wave from appearing in the un-tensioned side of the belt, prevents the CVT belt from losing contact with the driven clutch, and prevents undesirable vehicle performance at the lowest drive ratio.

An intake port formed in the vicinity of a suction part of the cooling fan formed on the drive pulley in the housing to forcedly introduce air from the outside and exhaust air to the outside. An exhaust port on the housing in a normal direction of the driven pulley at the rearward of a center of rotation of the driven pulley as seen from a side.
