Abstract:
A belt assembly for internal combustion engine that has a tensioner mount is described. The belt assembly includes a spacer that is rotatably coupleable to the tensioner mount, and a tensioner that is co-rotatably coupled to the spacer. The spacer is positioned between the tensioner and the tension mount.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a belt installation tool which is to be installed so as to cover at least a part of a first side surface of a pulley, including an attaching part attached along an outer peripheral part of the pulley, an installation part brought into contact with at least a part of the first side surface, a protection part covering at least a part of the first side surface without coming into contact therewith, and a belt holding part protruding on the protection part or on the installation part, in which the protection part covers at least a part of a part having a largest distance in a vertical direction in an area located inside the part with which the installation part comes into contact in the first side surface.

Abstract:
An axle assembly for a motorcycle having a plurality of drive wheels. The axle assembly is configured to permit a user to replace an endless power-transmitting element without substantially disassembling the axle housing assembly.
Abstract:
A belt attachment jig includes a jig body (10) located along a side surface of a pulley (1), and a belt guide portion (15) which protrudes forward in the pulley rotational direction from a contact portion (11) near one end of the jig body (10). The belt (B) is held between the twisting preventing plate (12) which forms the other end of the jig body (10) and the side surface of the jig-attached pulley (1) such that an inner circumferential surface of the belt (B) faces the jig-attached pulley (1). As the pulley (1) is rotated, the belt attachment jig is moved in the pulley rotational direction together with the belt (B) in a manner that makes the belt (B) fitted in the pulley groove.
Abstract:
A method for mounting a belt on a first pulley and a second pulley is disclosed, wherein a guide member and a fixing member is used. The method includes steps of winding the belt around a pulley groove of the second pulley; fitting the guide member in an inner groove of the first pulley; fixing the guide member on the first pulley using the fixing member; seating the belt in the inner pulley groove of the first pulley using the fixing member; positioning the belt in the outer direction with respect to the axial direction of the first pulley, by the guidance of a belt introduction surface of the guide member; and rotating the first pulley in the rotational direction of the first pulley so as to seat the belt in the inner pulley groove of the first pulley.
Abstract:
A guide useful to install or remove a belt from a belt module is shown. This guide is made up of two pivotable wings over which an endless belt is initially draped. Once pivotly attached to a belt module, the guide wings are moved away from each other to form a belt form over a top of the top drive rollers. A tube is attached to a bottom drive roller to help transfer the belt to the bottom drive roller. Once the belt is slidably positioned adjacent each drive roller, the belt is transferred from the guide and tube to the drive rollers for final installation.

Abstract:
A tool for creating tension of a chain on a cycle according to one embodiment comprises a wheel engaging portion; a frame engaging portion positioned opposite the wheel engaging portion; and at least one handle operatively coupled to the wheel engaging portion and the frame engaging portion such that application of force on the at least one handle is operative to bias the wheel engaging portion and frame engaging portion away from each other. A tool for creating tension of a chain on a cycle according to another embodiment includes a wheel engaging portion; a frame engaging portion positioned opposite the wheel engaging portion, the frame engaging portion includes an arcuate section for engaging a frame of a cycle; a pivoting member coupled to the frame engaging portion for engaging the frame of the cycle; one handle operatively coupled to the wheel engaging portion; another handle operative coupled to the frame engaging portion such that application of force on the handles is operative to bias the wheel engaging portion and frame engaging portion away from each other; and a locking mechanism for maintaining relative positions of the wheel engaging portion and the frame engaging portion during use of the tool.
Abstract:
In a motorcycle having a V-belt type continuously variable transmission, a resin washer made of a nylon resin is interposed between a boss fixed to a moving sheave half of a secondary sheave and a spring bearing member. The boss contacts the spring bearing member through the resin washer, whereby the moving sheave half is restricted to a Top position, in which a spacing between it and a stationary sheave half becomes maximum. In this manner, the maximum speed is not changed by exchange of the V-belt, the V-belt does not slip or become considerably abraded or deteriorated, and noise generation is suppressed.
