摘要： An automatic transmission system having a belt type infinitely variable gear is housed in a transmission casing. The transmission casing is formed of a torque convertor housing portion in which the torque convertor is housed and an infinitely variable gear housing portion in which the infinitely variable gear is housed. A forward-reverse switching mechanism is provided between the torque convertor and the primary shaft of the infinitely variable gear and is supported on the torque convertor housing portion. Opposite ends of the primary shaft of the infinitely variable gear are supported on support portions respectively formed on the infinitely variable gear housing portion and the torque convertor housing portion, and opposite ends of the secondary shaft of the infinitely variable gear are supported on support portions respectively formed on the infinitely variable gear housing portion and the torque convertor housing portion.

摘要： There is provided a seal structure which surely maintains sealing performance of a pressure vessel including a bottomed tubular vessel body with an opening end and a lid closing the opening end. In this seal structure of the pressure vessel, annular grooves 11a, 11b and ridges 21a, 21b fitted to each other are formed on both of the inner and outer sides at the joining faces of opening end 11 of the vessel body 10 and the lid 20, and an annular vent hole 30 is formed between the inner ridge 21a and the outer ridge 21b. An air supply hole 31 for supplying an inert gas to the vent hole 30 is formed in the lid 20. The joining faces on the inside of the inner groove 11a and inner ridge 21a are in metal-to-metal contact. Furthermore, gaskets 51a, 51b are held between the ridges 21a, 21b and the grooves 11a, 11b.

The light conductor plate has an incident surface for a light from the light source, a light emitting surface for emitting the input light to the liquid crystal cell, and a plurality of dots constituted by small projecting portions or small recess portions for changing a moving direction of the light from the incidence surface toward a direction of the light emitting surface. The dots are formed in at least one of the light emitting surface and a surface of the light conductor plate opposite to the light emitting surface and have a particular configuration.

A frame interpolator produces interpolated frames from a first video signal given in a first video format by using motion vectors of the first video signal. From the interpolated frames, a video signal generator produces a second video signal in a second video format that is incompatible with the first video format.

摘要： A liquid crystal light valve includes a semiconductor substrate having a region for a plurality of switching elements formed in a matrix form. A first metal layer is formed on the surface of the semiconductor substrate through an insulating layer and divided into a plurality of parts by first slits. A second metal layer is formed on the first metal layer through another insulating layer and divided into a plurality of parts by second slits. A third metal layer is formed on the second metal layer through still another insulating layer and divided into a plurality of parts by third slits. An opposite substrate has an opposite electrode on a surface thereof, disposed so as to be opposite to said third metal layer through an interval on the opposite electrode side. Liquid crystal fills the interval between said opposite electrode and the third metal layer.
