    摘要: A flushometer valve includes a hollow body and a piston assembly disposed inside the hollow body for controlling operation of the flushometer valve. The piston assembly and hollow body define an inlet chamber, an outlet chamber and a pressure chamber. The piston assembly includes a flow guide, a piston top, and an insert. The flow guide is movable relative to the hollow body between an open position, in which the outlet chamber is fluidly connected to the inlet chamber, and a closed position, in which the outlet chamber is fluidly disconnected from the inlet chamber. The piston top is coupled to the flow guide, includes a first material, and has a bleed passage that fluidly connects the pressure chamber and the inlet chamber. The insert is disposed within the bleed passage, includes a second material, and has a bore that fluidly connects the bleed passage and the pressure chamber.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a positive pressure relief valve having a valve assembly, a trigger mechanism, an inlet manual override knob, and an outlet manual override knob. The valve assembly may comprises a valve throat and a main piston positioned at least partially within the valve throat, the main piston configured to selectively open and close the valve throat as a function of a pressure at the inlet to the valve assembly. The valve assembly may comprise a set of throat inserts within the valve throat. The trigger mechanism serves to quickly pressurize the main piston's diaphragm. The trigger mechanism may be positioned in a trigger mechanism housing at the outlet end of the valve assembly. The inlet and outlet manual override knob may be coupled to the main piston and configured to pull or push the main piston, thereby displacing the main piston to open the valve assembly.

    摘要: A self-closing valve for flushing drip-irrigation lines at the beginning of every irrigation cycle. The valve comprises a housing defining an enclosed space, having an inlet portion mountable to the line end, allowing free communication with the water of the line. The housing comprises an elastic membrane dividing the enclosed space into upstream and downstream compartments with respect to said flow, with a passage communicating between the said compartments. A discharge opening is formed in the upstream compartment. Flow impeding means are associated with said passage for restricting the flow of water from the upstream compartment into the downstream compartment, said flow being effective to flex the membrane in the upstream direction until it closes against the discharge opening.
