    摘要： A flange pipe terminus is attached to a mirror image terminus by a pair of pivoting C-shaped collars. The collars are locked after installation by a lever coupled to one collar that engage a radial abutment at the non-hinged end of the other collar. The lever is terminated with a swinging loop that engages a notch in the abutment. Additional security from accidental opening is provided by a secondary lock that blocks the movement of the loop or lever.

    摘要： This disclosure relates to a cam-type sanitary clamp for releasably coupling two flanged ends of a sanitary fitting, such as a tri-clover fitting. The clamp has an upper clamp ring component hinged to a lower clamp ring component, with a threaded shaft component that is pivotally connected to the lower clamp ring component, a cylindrical pivot component, and a cam-type lever component. The lever is pivotally connected to the pivot component and has a plurality of protrusions, such as lobes, that are each configured to be compressed against the slotted opening of the upper clamp ring section when the cam-type lever component is manually rotated from an open position to a closed position to secure the clamp about the flanges of a sanitary fitting.

    摘要： A cam clamp assembly for a sanitary fitting includes a first arcuate segment having a first extension with a slot. A second arcuate segment has a second extension, and the first and second segments are pivotally coupled together for movement about a first axis. An elongated member is pivotally coupled to the second extension for movement of the elongated member about a second axis so that the elongated member is receivable within the slot, the second axis being parallel to the first axis. An offset cam member is pivotally mounted to the elongated member for movement about a third axis, parallel to the first and second axes. A handle rotates the cam member between an open and closed position, and defines a cam travel stop that provides a tactile indication that a predefined compression of the fitting has been obtained when the cam member has been rotated to the closed position.
