    摘要： A staff apparatus having a leg assembly with multiple movable legs. In one embodiment, the leg assembly includes three legs to form a tripod. The staff apparatus may include an adaptable magnetic-based mount for releasably attaching a camera, spotting scope, gun or arm rest, or other item. The mount may be movable or non-movable. A shaft may include multiple telescoping sections, and an upper section may telescope into a lower section. Various embodiments and features of the staff apparatus are disclosed.

    摘要： An ambulatory aid in the form of a cane is manufactured from plastics material including a handle and a stick portion. The stick portion is formed in two sections, one having a male screw thread and the other having a female screw thread so that the axial length can be adjusted by screwing one into the other and then locking with a lock nut. The screw threads are formed of moulded plastic material in tubular form with a tubular metal insert. The handle is shaped with an inclined upper surface leading downwardly to an upward stop. The upper surface is positioned directly above the vertical axis of the stick.

    摘要： An invalid walker includes a means for locking at least one of the side frames in a hyperextended position. The walker includes a pair of U-shaped side frames whose front legs are connected by a cross brace member. Each of the rear legs of the side frames is connected to the cross brace member by a telescoping tubular device in which a first tube telescopes into and is received by a second tube. A pushbutton mechanism is housed inside the first tube and positioned within a first aperture in the first tube. The second tube includes a pair of locking apertures, one for locking the side frame in a first normal open position and the second for locking the side frame in a hyperextended position. The apparatus further includes a foot adjustment means for levelling the rubber foot of the hyperextended rear leg of the hyperextended side frame with the feet of the other three legs of the apparatus.
