摘要: A foldable supporting device includes a linkage unit, a supporting unit and a converting unit. The supporting unit includes a main supporting member that has a first main supporting surface, and at least one auxiliary supporting member that has a first auxiliary supporting surface. The converting unit has at least one converting part that is drivable by movement of the linkage unit to convert the supporting unit between a folded state in which the first main supporting surface and the first auxiliary supporting surface cooperatively form a first angle, and an unfolded state in which the first main supporting surface and the first auxiliary supporting surface cooperatively form a second angle.

摘要: Embodiments of chair systems incorporating trekking poles include a low-back design employing fixed-length trekking poles, and a high-back design employing adjustable-length trekking poles that allow for adjusting the recline angle of the chair. The chair system generally includes a tubular frame that releasably engages a flexible seat. The tubular frame includes a front hub and a rear hub spaced one from the other by a cross bar, plus front and rear footings which stabilize the chair system on the ground or undersurface. A V-shaped upper support extending from the front hub supports and holds open the leg portion of the flexible seat, while the trekking poles are releasably engaged with and extend upwardly from the rear hub to support, and hold open and upright the back portion of the flexible seat.

摘要: Embodiments of a smart mobility aid device may have sensors to collect, monitor, analyze and represent data including but not limited to activity tracking, biometrics and safety and emergency features. The activity tracking include number of steps, miles, and activity speed, user pressure on a device, activity types and analysis. The user biometric data includes but is not limited to blood work, blood pressure, blood sugar, heart rate, oxygen level/rate, ECG, EMG, muscle strain, humidity, UV, body temperature. Additional features include an emergency button, fall detection, warnings, and user pattern analysis changes. The mobility aid device is connected to other smart electronic devices and/or the Internet using but not limited to Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and or/and SIM card. The device gives the user or/and caregiver live feedback about user health metrics and status using a data representation method.

摘要: A device that can be configured as a walking aid, such as one or more canes, or as a chair for sitting. In the walking aid configuration, the device may include two canes. Each cane may have a main leg and a secondary leg that may be rotated parallel to the main leg to form a cane, or rotated away from the main leg to form one half of a chair support. One of the canes may include a seat crossbar that folds out and extends between the two chair supports formed from the two canes. Handles may be attached or integrated into the main legs. Because the chair configuration may be formed from only five linear members (two main legs, two secondary legs, and the seat crossbar), the canes may be compact and lightweight when folded up into the walking aid configuration.
