摘要: An impeller lubrication system provides lubrication oil flow to a transmission pocket bearing. Splash and spray lubrication oil is directed from the transmission casing to a collector region along a shaft adjacent the pocket bearing. As the shaft rotates, oil is forced axially along the shaft by an impeller fixed to the shaft. The impeller forces the oil from the collector region to the pocket bearing through a lubrication port in the shaft.

摘要: A vertical type antifriction bearing device which includes an antifriction bearing using balls or rollers as rolling members. This bearing device features that, during operation, the level of lubricating oil is maintained below the antifriction bearing allowing the feed of lubricating oil to the antifriction bearing in a suitable amount, and that during the stoppage of operation, the level of the lubricating oil is raised above the antifriction bearing, whereby during the stoppage of operation the antifriction bearing is shielded from atmosphere or moisture to prevent the corrosion thereof and, during the operation, the agitation loss caused by the lubricating oil is minimized.

摘要: When an annular portion of a thrust collar rotates together with a rotating shaft member, centrifugal force and shear force, or differential pressure caused by difference in flow rate are generated in lubricating oil in a circulation oil chamber. With this, the lubricating oil in the circulation oil chamber is guided from the inner peripheral side to the outer peripheral side of the annular portion, through a circulation hole penetrating the annular portion. The flow of lubricating oil guided by the circulation hole forms a flow of lubricating oil from a lower oil chamber to an upper oil chamber through the circulation oil chamber. As a result, the lubricating oil stored in the lower oil chamber is circulated to the upper oil chamber through the circulation oil chamber, by rotation of the thrust collar.
