    摘要: The present invention relates to a steam trap for draining off condensate from a collecting chamber in which condensate resulting in a pressure gas system is collected, the collecting chamber being pressurized by a gas pressure which, depending upon the operating state of the pressure gas system, may be a negative pressure below the atmospheric pressure, an overpressure above the atmospheric pressure or an atmospheric pressure itself. The steam trap may be separated via an interface into an integral first assembly unit and an integral maintenance assembly unit which comprises the essential wear and tear parts.

    摘要: A condensate removal device for removal of condensate from a fluid system. The device includes a body adapted for connection to the fluid system, the body having an inflow opening and an outflow opening. A trap between the inflow opening and the outflow opening restricts flow of fluid to permit the passage of liquid condensate but to inhibit the passage of gas. The trap includes a fixed passageway extending through the trap constructed for continuous fluid communication between the inflow opening and the outflow opening through the trap. A variable passageway extends through the trap, the variable passageway being constructed to selectively permit fluid communication between the inflow opening and outflow opening through the variable passageway in correspondence with the amount of liquid condensate in the fluid system. The device may include a labyrinth path to trap steam and pass condensate and be constructed to promote heat transfer and condensation of steam within the trap.

    摘要: A thermodynamic condensate trap comprises a body 2 and a cap 18 which define a chamber 24. Inlet and outlet passage 8, 10 emerge into the trap chamber 24 at a seating face 12. A valve element in the form of a disc 26 is movable within the chamber 24 to open and close a flow path through the chamber 24 between the inlet passage 8 and the outlet passage 10. The cap 18 has thermal insulating means, for example in the form of air spaces 30, 32 to reduce heat transfer between the trap chamber 24 and the ambient surroundings. This reduces the cycle time of the trap, and consequently, extends the useful life of its components.

The traps include a chamber having an input port and an output port. A movable piston blocks fluid flow between the input port and output port at high pressures but moves to an unblocking position at low pressures to permit fluid flow through the traps.

    摘要: A nozzle-type steam trap including a venturi nozzle, an orifice nozzle, or a tunnel structure resistance nozzle minimizes the outflow of steam even when a pressure difference between a drain-water inlet and a drain-water outlet of each nozzle fluctuates, the steam trap being compatible with any usage environments and enabling maintenance and inspection to be easily performed. The nozzle-type steam trap including the venturi nozzle, the orifice nozzle, or the tunnel structure resistance nozzle includes a means for sealing the nozzle by using a drain water. The nozzle-type steam trap further includes a plurality of steam inflow ports and drain-water outflow ports and includes a closure means for determining, for a selected one of the steam inflow ports and a selected one of the drain-water outflow ports, passages of steam and drain water. More preferably, the steam trap includes a swirl flow formation means in the vicinity of the nozzle.

    摘要: A steam trap is provided to remove condensed water from a steam pipe having an end to which the strap is connected. In one embodiment, the trap includes a hollow body having an inlet adapted to secure to the pipe end and an outlet, the body comprising a staged internal space; a blocking member secured in the space and comprising a central projection on either surface and a plurality of apertures around the projections; and an abutment member in the rear of the blocking member. Condensate is adapted to pass the apertures while the steam is substantially blocked by the apertures due to capillary action.
