    Abstract: A condensate trap for a furnace system includes a trap inlet configured to receive combusted gases, a condensate chamber coupled to the trap inlet and configured to trap condensate, a trap outlet coupled to the condensate chamber and configured to exhaust the combusted gases, a header box inlet configured to receive condensate from a header box, and a condensate outlet configured to drain condensate from the condensate chamber. Combusted gas that passes through the condensate trap provides heat to condensate within the condensate trap to thaw frozen condensate or to prevent condensate from freezing.

    Abstract: A method of maintaining a backpressure of a fluidic product is provided. The method includes pressurizing a first reservoir to a first predetermined pressure level using compressed air, delivering the fluidic product to the pressurized first reservoir until a current level of the fluidic product in the first reservoir reaches a first predetermined level, pressurizing a second reservoir to a second predetermined pressure level using the compressed air, delivering the fluidic product to the pressurized second reservoir until a current level of the fluidic product in the second reservoir reaches a second predetermined level, and controlling the backpressure of the fluidic product using the first reservoir and the second reservoir such that a discharge flow of the fluidic product is continuous.

    Abstract: A condensate drain is described. The condensate drain comprises a thermodynamic actuator and a closing arrangement. The closing arrangement is configured to switch a fluid connection between a first connector and a second connector of the condensate drain in a thermodynamically controlled manner by the thermodynamic actuator. In order to achieve an improved cleaning capability, the condensate drain further comprises an adjusting device attached to the closing arrangement, wherein the adjusting device switches the fluid connection between the first connector and the second connector. A processing system simplified by the condensate drain is also described.

    Abstract: A drain valve including a housing having a float chamber, a piston chamber, and a plenum communicating with the piston chamber through a seat. The housing has a liquid inlet passage, and an outlet port. The drain valve has a tube passage communicating with the piston chamber. The drain valve includes an annular float. The drain valve includes a seal body connected to the float and rising away from the tube passage when liquid is in the float chamber. The drain valve includes a piston slidably mounted in the piston chamber having a head that moves away from the seat when gas enters the piston chamber. The piston includes a valve element that moves as the piston head moves to expose the liquid inlet port and allow liquid to flow from the liquid inlet passage through the plenum and into the liquid outlet passage.

    Abstract: In a steam trap comprising a seat valve that is adapted to be switched over between an open position for a first discharge state with large throughput and a closed position for a second discharge state with small throughput, the closure element and the seat of the seat valve define, at the closed position, a two-part passage, said passage having a jet cross-section, which first decreases in size in the discharge direction and, subsequently, re-increases in size, and being delimited by the seating area, the sealing face and at least one, only local control groove in the sealing face and/or the seating area. In the aseptic double seated valve the steam trap serves to carry out a flushing cycle as well as a sterilization cycle in a filling plant.

    Abstract: A valve system for collection and removal of condensation from a gas-pressurized fluid system. In one embodiment a single valve is used, having inlet, outlet and condensate collection ports and a valve body capable of movement between a position which connects the inlet port to the condensate collection port and a position which connects the condensate collection port to the outlet port. The valve is formed such that the inlet port is not connected to the outlet port while the valve is moved between the two positions, so that the pressurized system is not depressurized. A second embodiment uses two coupled valves replacing the single valve.
