The at least one radiation emitter (60) is arranged within the air duct (40) in the region of the air entry opening (42), wherein the air duct (40) is made of an infrared radiation-reflecting as well as light-impermeable wall material (45), and the air duct (40) has at least one curved longitudinal axial section (50) with a radius of curvature (51) and an angle of curvature (52) between the air entry opening (42) and the air exit opening (43).

摘要: The vehicle lamp includes a first lamp unit and a second lamp unit each including a first light source configured to emit an emission beam (visible light), a second light source configured to emit infrared light for sensing having a peak wavelength different from that of the first light source, and a light receiving unit configured to detect an intensity of reflected light of the infrared light emitted from the second light source. The light distribution control is performed on the light emitted from the first light source in accordance with the intensity of the reflected light detected by the light receiving unit, and the peak wavelength of the light emitted from the second light source of the first lamp unit and the peak wavelength of the light emitted from the second light source of the second lamp unit are different from each other.

The visible radiation lighting unit generates illumination light. The projector lens is provided on an optical axis of the visible radiation lighting unit, and is configured to distribute and project the illumination light irradiated from the visible radiation lighting unit. The visible radiation lighting unit has an LED, a liquid crystal display panel, and a shutter. The LED emits light. The liquid crystal display panel controls light distribution of the illumination light emitted from the LED. The shutter is provided between the liquid crystal display panel and the projector lens, and is configured to shield the liquid crystal display panel from solar light that enters through the projector lens.

Methods are also disclosed.

摘要: A lighting device for a motor vehicle has a laser light source from the light of which light radiation is generated into the area around the motor vehicle during operation of the lighting device. In the lighting device, a plurality of optical channels is associated with the laser light source, and the light of the laser light source can be guided via each optical channel in order to generate a separate light spread associated with the optical channel from the guided light in the area around the motor vehicle. An optical element, which can be switched by a control device into different switching states, is provided between the laser light source and the plurality of optical channels. A different switching state is associated with each optical channel. In each respective switching state, light from the laser light source is fed only into the optical channel with which the respective switching state is associated, by means of the optical element.

摘要: An illumination device for a motor vehicle includes a first light source and a scanner, wherein, in the switched-on state of the first light source, light coming from same is incident upon the scanner and the scanner performs a scanning movement, by which the beam path of the light from the first light source is modified after passing via the scanner and a moving first light spot is thereby generated, with which a first lighting function is provided, which represents an illumination of a surrounding area of the motor vehicle with visible light. A conversion element is arranged in the beam path of the light from the first light source after passing via the scanner, which converts the light that is incident upon the element into white light. One or more second light sources are provided, wherein, in the switched-on state of a respective second light source, light coming from same is incident upon the scanner and the scanner performs a scanning movement, by which the beam path of the light from the respective second light source is modified after passing via the scanner, without encountering a conversion element provided in the illumination device, and a moving second light spot is thereby generated, with which a respective second lighting function is provided.

摘要: An infrared illumination and detection system can include an infrared light source that can emit infrared light having a first wavelength. A visible light source positioned adjacent the infrared light source can emit visible light that overlaps the emitted infrared light. An infrared detector assembly, positioned adjacent the infrared light source and the visible light source, can include a wavelength-sensitive filter that can block wavelengths away from the first wavelength. The infrared detector assembly can include a sensor that can sense light at the first wavelength. The emitted infrared light can appear red when viewed by the human eye in the absence of the emitted visible light. The emitted visible light can optionally be sufficiently bright so as to substantially eliminate viewed redness when the infrared light and the visible light are viewed, together, by the human eye. Alternatives to reduce or eliminate the perceived redness are also provided.
