    摘要: The present invention addresses the problem of providing a video display device that projects and displays video including starry sky images onto a target surface, that can reproduce the twinkling of stars and that can more faithfully reproduce an actual starry sky. Provided are a light source, a projection lens, a starry-sky projection negative plate, a twinkling negative plate with uneven light-transmitting properties, a starry-sky-end support unit that supports the starry-sky projection negative plate in a location onto which light from the light source is radiated, a twinkling-end support unit that supports the twinkling negative plate between the starry-sky projection negative plate and the projection lens or between the light source and the starry-sky projection negative plate, and an actuation mechanism that rotationally actuates, by power from an actuator, the starry-sky projection negative plate in a state of being supported by the starry-sky-end support unit and the twinkling negative plate in a state of being supported by the twinkling-end support unit. Light that has penetrated the starry-sky projection negative plate and the twinkling negative plate is radiated onto the target surface via the projection lens.

    摘要: A non-glare luminaire includes a toroidal-shaped light engine having light emitting diodes (LEDs) disposed about the light engine in a radial pattern. The light engine has an axial direction that is at least substantially orthogonal to the surface of the light engine. An anti-glare ring is disposed proximate the light engine and includes reflectors arranged in a radial pattern. Each reflector is configured to reflect tangentially oriented light from at least one of the LEDs substantially along the axial direction. The luminaire also includes a toroidal integrated optic (TIO), which is made up of a total internal reflectance (TIR) lens that is coupled with a light guide. The TIO optic has a toroidal lens portion having a light entrance side that receives light from the LEDs and the reflectors. The optic collimates the light received from the LEDs and the reflectors and emit the light via a light exit side.

    摘要: Disclosed is a laser-based device for use primarily for laser light effects. The laser device comprises multiple red, green, and blue lasers. Each laser has a lens to collimate and focus each individual beam. The lasers are aligned such that each laser shares a common output axis. The intensity of each laser is adjustable thereby allowing the overall output color of the device to change. The overall output has over 16 million colors. Each laser-based device has a gimbal-like system to allow the devices change their orientation. A remote control system allows for the control and synchronization of multiple devices. Multiple devices may connect to the remote control system using cables, wireless transceivers, or both. Multiple devices may be located in close proximity to create a more powerful overall output beam. The remote control system allows for viewer interaction through an application installed onto a personal communication device.
