摘要： An energy saving type of light emitting diode lamp is disclosed. In such a manner, the human body sensor may be used to detect existence of the human body. Thus, the LED lamp is disposed at a low illuminance state normally, and may be converted into a high illuminance state when the human body approaches. In addition, the light sensor may be used to detect the environmental illuminance. Thus, when the environmental illuminance is insufficient, the light source is fully opened or half opened, and when the environmental illuminance is sufficient, the light source is closed. In such a manner, the LED lamp may be operated by a high power with a large current during a short time, so that the LED lamp consumes less electricity, has a long lifetime, and saves energy highly.

摘要： The present invention provides a support assembly for a lighting fixture and two adjustment mechanisms that provide for a significant range of adjustment of the lamp within the lighting fixture. The support assembly includes a first and a second support member. The first support member may be an arcuate support brace or yoke, including at least one first leg extending therefrom. The second support member may be an annular base brace or yoke, including at least a second leg extending therefrom. The first adjustment mechanism provides for the repositioning of the lamp support about a horizontal axis and includes a travel arm and two biasing means. The second adjustment mechanism provides for the rotation of the base yoke 360° about a vertical axis that runs through the center of the annular portion of the yoke and then secured in position within the lighting fixture by a locking means, such as the adjustable locking clamp.

The vehicle cornering lamp also includes a control unit 20 for controlling light emission—from the reflector units 12A, 12B, and 12C—according to the travel conditions of the vehicle. When the vehicle turns to the left at an intersection, a traveling road onto which the vehicle will turn left, and a road shoulder, are sufficiently irradiated by switching on the reflector units 12A, 12B and 12C in the order of 12A→12B→12C→12B→12A, so that pedestrians can quickly be detected.

Desired optical axis raising angles for a vehicle headlight are calculated based on these inter-vehicle distances of the divided zones. The optical axis of the headlight is adjusted to the most downward pointing angle selected from among these angles, so that a driver of a preceding vehicle is not blinded.

摘要： A lamp having a threaded base for threadedly coupling to an electrical energy source is provided. The lamp includes a light-generating bulb replaceably coupled to the threaded base and a housing coupled to the base. The housing has an inner light-directing surface disposed about the bulb. The housing terminates at an outer rim, and defines an opening. A mounting assembly, including a lens-holding ring with a keeper and a latch hook on the sidewall, removably mounts a lens on the rim in a covering position closing the opening, whereby removal of the lens permits access to the bulb. The lens holding ring may be separable from the housing or may be pivotally coupled to a ring on the housing.

The first pivot arm includes a first end, a second end, and an orifice extending from the first end to the second end. The second pivot arm includes a shaped orifice extending from an opening to a threaded screw hole, a bushing having a head, a shaft with a shaped end, and a channel extending through the bushing. The bushing is inserted through the first end of the orifice in the first pivot arm and extends into the shaped orifice in the second pivot arm such that the shaped end mates with the shaped orifice. The threaded screw is inserted through the channel in the bushing and threaded into the screw hole in the second pivot arm.
