摘要: A device for increasing an extreme low voltage from a heat to electrical voltage thermopile is shown. The device has an oscillator including two MOSFET transistors coupled to a transformer having four bifilar windings wound on a core having a high permeability. The two transistors operate alternately to generate an intermediate voltage which is increased in magnitude by a voltage doubling and rectifying circuit to obtain the substantially constant operating output voltage. The output voltage is further maintain constant by a current control cirucit including an adjustable potentiometer adjustable to vary the current.

摘要: According to the invention, the ionization signal is detected at a first point of time during full-load operation and during partial-load operation, and for this first point of time a first difference is formed between the ionization signal during full-load operation and the ionization signal during partial-load operation. Furthermore, the ionization signal is detected at a second point of time during full-load operation and during partial-load operation, and for this second point of time a second difference is formed between the ionization signal during full-load operation and the ionization signal during partial-load operation. The first difference and the second difference are compared to each other and, dependent thereon, the state of the gas burner is inferred.

摘要: A cap for a jar containing a candle. The cap includes a lid and a snuffer plug. The lid is non-metallic and has a single exhaust throughbore that extends axially and centrally therethrough. The snuffer plug is dimensioned to fit securely into the single exhaust throughbore in the lid. The lid is preferably made of a heat insulating material, such as glass, and is dimensioned to fit snugly onto/into the open top of the jar. The single exhaust throughbore in the lid is preferably approximately 1.5 inches in diameter. The lid may be fluted and either transparent or translucent to provide decorative light diffusion.

摘要: A gas-fired heater includes a plurality of burners and one or more valves corresponding to one of the burners and operating between a closed position and an open position. A fuel supply is in fluidic communication with at least one of the burners when the one or more valves are in the open position. A modulator receives a temperature signal and computes, as a function of the temperature signal, and emits at least one control signal. The modulator then operates the one or more valves between the open position and the closed position as a function of the at least one control signal and controls the one or more valves to either activate or deactivate the burners for incrementally modulating a heat input to the gas-fired heater.

摘要: The present invention describes a measuring device for a flame, in particular for use in a regulating device for a burner (13), comprising an ionization electrode (15) which is arranged in the flame region (14) of the burner (13) and to which an ac voltage is applied whereby a dc voltage component is superimposed in dependence on the ionization current. The flame resistance influences the ac voltage and the dc voltage at a blocking capacitor (3) unequally. The ac voltage can be separated from the dc voltage component by way of first means (5, 6) and the separated ac voltage can be compared to the separated-off dc voltage component by way of second means (9, 10) in order to produce a pulse width-modulated signal.

摘要: The invention relates to a control method for gas burners for providing a gas-air mixture. According to the invention, the ionization signal is only used for setting the mixing ratio dependent on the gas quality when the burner flame completely sweeps over the sensor generating the ionization signal. Outside the above-mentioned range, i.e. when the burner flame does not completely sweep over the sensor generating the ionization signal, the gas-air mixture is controlled dependent on the previously determined mixing ratio.
