Abstract: Provided is an air treatment apparatus comprising an air flow generator arranged to generate an air flow, a moisture source arranged to introduce water vapour into the air flow, and a water supply system. The water supply system comprises a water tank, a water supply pipe arranged to convey water from the water tank, a water pump arranged to pump water through the water supply pipe, and an ultraviolet light source arranged to irradiate the water passing through the water supply pipe. The water supply system further comprises a flow regulator. The flow regulator comprises a receptacle or flow regulation chamber that is arranged to receive water from the water pump and that is fluidically connected to the water supply pipe, and the receptacle comprises a crest or brim that is arranged to allow water to flow of the receptacle.
