摘要： A projectile shooting guide includes an elongated guide member to be mounted on a bow by a support and in its mounted position the guide member extends towards the bowstring. The shooting guide also includes a device to allow vertical movement of the guide member during a drawing movement of the shooting guide. The guide member is pivotable and in its pivoted position a resilient device urges the guide member to remain pivoted. Projectile loading is accomplished in the preferred embodiment by a moving pivotable portion of the guide member. Other embodiments employ spring, hinged or sliding loading devices. The guide member also includes a bowstring slot extending longitudinally in the guide member which allows drawing and shooting movements of the bowstring. The rearward end of the slot narrows to guide the bowstring to the lateral center of such slot. A projectile is included for use with the shooting guide. Such projectile includes a grooved portion to engage and align with an elongated ridge portion on the guide member.

摘要： An improved pressure button for an archery bow having a housing adapted to extend through an opening in a bow handle. The housing has a chamber disposed therein and the chamber extends to an opening in one end thereof. A plunger is slidably disposed within the chamber and the plunger has one end thereof extending through the opening and forming a small space between the one end of the plunger and the housing. An arrow contacting portion is disposed on one end of the plunger for contacting an arrow on an arrow rest, such arrow rest being attached to the bow handle. A spring is disposed within the plunger for biasing the plunger in a direction toward the arrow and a stop is provided for preventing the plunger from moving too far in such one direction. An opening is provided for permitting air to enter the chamber on the other end thereof and a pump is disposed within the chamber for causing air to be forced out through the space between the housing and the plunger when the plunger operates as a shock absorber and guiding mechanism for the arrow when it is shot. A filter is provided in the chamber to prevent dirt from entering the chamber.

摘要： A rotatable fishing arrow rest comprising a threaded support member (with or without lock nut) adapted to thread into an arrow rest hole provided in the arrow window of an archery bow wherein the support member pivotally retains a roller having a pair of rubber O-rings of two difference diameters (larger diameter O-ring mounted on the outer and the smaller O-ring mounted on the inner side of the roller relative to the archery bow) in the window area of the archery bow such that the arrow shaft makes rolling contact with each rubber O-ring as the arrow is launched. The rotatable arrow rest can further be equipped with a fabric cushion that attaches to the archery bow adjacent to the rubber O-rings such that the arrow shaft touches the fabric cushion as the arrow is launched. Such a rotatable arrow rest is particularly useful in absorbing the oscillations and lateral forces created in a fishing arrow shaft by the archery bow, while simultaneously reducing frictional losses.

摘要： An attachment for a bow to be used in cooperation with known supports which engage respectively a side of an arrow and also the lower surface of an arrow. The attachment has a flexible leaf and a cam head. An arrow is mounted to the known supports by moving the arrow shaft laterally against the cam head flexing the leaf upwardly. As the arrow shaft moves past the cam head the leaf snaps back downwardly pressing the arrow against the aforementioned known supports, whereby the attachment acts to prevent an arrow from laterally falling from the bow when mounted on the bow in any shooting position of the bow but not interfering with longitudinal movement of the arrow from the bow when shot therefrom.

摘要： A device for holding an arrow in a ready position against an arrow rest and nocked against the outer cable of a compound bow that is secured to the bow by a bracket mounted above the handle of the bow, adjacent to the arrow rest. A holder arm has one end connected to one end of a shaft pivotably mounted on the bracket. The other end of the holder arm includes an arrow holder to secure the arrow, ready for shooting in one position, and release it for actual shooting in another position. The other end of the shaft is connected to a lever arm that controls the arrow holder and its arm. A string connected between a point on the inner bow cables of the compound bow and the lever arm controlling the holder arm to pull the lever arm to move the arrow holder from the one position to the other position, automatically, when the outer bow cable is drawn to shoot the bow.

摘要： Before the empty cartridge case is ejected it is extracted from the cartridge chamber of the weapon barrel by an extractor and subsequently tilted by an ejector. During this operation large forces are exerted on the pivotably mounted extractor. It has been found that when high cadence firing takes place the spring forces are too small to hold the extractor reliably. Therefore, the extractor is secured by a support lever or by a locking pawl against inadvertent pivoting during the removal of the cartridge case. Preferably a support lever or support slide is arranged in the breechblock to prevent premature tilting of the cartridge case.

摘要： Shell feeding apparatus for a rapid fire, gun, such as a medium caliber cannon, comprises an elongate, linear shell rammer having a relatively small diameter, surrounded by a carousel-type shell magazine configured for holding several, for example, about six, shells. The shell rammer includes a pressurized fluid actuation cylinder having two transversely separated bores and two pistons mounted in the bores. Protruding ends of the pistons are interconnected by a motion multiplier which comprises a T-shaped member, to opposite sides of which are mounted two pairs of sprockets. A shell ramming member is fixed to two drive chains entrained over the two pairs of sprockets. The drive chains are fixed to the actuator cylinder so that when pressurized fluid moves the pistons, relative to the cylinder, a distance, "d", at a velocity, "v," the shell ramming member, and hence a shell engaged thereby, is moved a substantially greater distance, "D," at a substantially greater velocity, "V." Typically the shell ramming distance, "D," and velocity, "V," are twice as great as the actuation distance, "d," and velocity, "v." The shell rammer functions as a spindle for the magazine which includes means for moving shells held thereon to a shell ramming position at which the shells are engaged by the shell ramming member.
