摘要： A firing device for firing cartridge ammunition comprising a case head, which has on its outer circumference at least one peripheral, groove-shaped depression. In order to achieve secure arrestment of the ammunition in the firing device when the firing device is loaded from the muzzle end, a head piece and a tubular ammunition receiving-device is provided, wherein the ammunition receiving-device is arranged such that it can be moved axially in the direction of the head piece against the pressure of a restoring element. In this case, the head piece includes an annular guiding element, which extends axially into the ammunition receiving-device and has multiple guiding openings, which extend through the wall of the guiding element and are in each case of a form that is angled from the outer side of the guiding element in the direction of the opening of the ammunition receiving-device.

摘要： A floatable smoke pot which floats in a stable position with a casing can water-tightly closed by a cover through a closure device. Smoke-generating bodies of a pyrotechnic material, which can be ignited by an igniting device, are arranged in the casing can. A stable floating position is achieve through a ballast weight in the casing can at the can bottom (14). A number of column elements forming the smoke-generating bodies are arranged in the casing can in a uniformly distributed relationship, standing on the ballast weight. The space which remains free of the column elements in the casing can is filled with a buoyancy material. The cover has holes which in the unused original condition of the smoke pot are water-tightly closed with closure elements which can be torn open so that the smoke pot can also be submerged in water for a limited time without extinguishing of the smoke-generating bodies.

摘要： A projectile is described which consists of a contact head and a screen material canister which may be made of aluminum, attached thereto by bolts and, optionally closed with a cover. Contact rings are arranged on an outer casing of the contact head and are connected via firing leads to a primer capsule which is located in the contact head in a centrally disposed box-shaped charge chamber having a substantially gas-tight screw cover at its base and substantially gas-tight ports for the firing leads, the ports being sealed with a sealing agent. A delayed action fuse assembly is arranged in the head section of the contact head or in the base of the screen material canister and connects the charge chamber and the canister, the assembly being in communication with the canister either through an igniter-destructor unit having a charge for igniting the screen material and fragmenting a casing of the canister, or through an expelling charge chamber containing an expelling charge for expulsion of the screen material at rupture of the cover on the head of the canister. The screw cover is formed at its edge with a screw thread and is formed at least in its central region with an abutment for a spacer of a cup discharger, the parts of the cover between the edge and the abutment being formed with weakened areas for the escape of propellent gases. The screen material may consist of thin combustible lamellae which may comprise a carrier material carrying a slow-burning combustion layer.

摘要： An improved smoke canister 1 has a high-pressure proof propellant chamber 20 containing a propellant charge 21, consisting of a reduced-smoke generating powder, which can be ignited electrically by an ignition charge 19. Capillary bores 20b and 20c are provided respectively in both end faces of the propellant chamber 20. When a smoke canister 1 is fired, propellant gases under high pressure exit via the capillary bore 20b into the launcher (not shown), and contribute to the uniform acceleration of the smoke canister 1. This makes it possible to launch heavier smoke canisters. The smoke-generating charge 12 is ignited by means of the second capillary bore 20c.
