    摘要: A swing weight scale is presented that measures the swing weight of a golf club by measuring the torque exerted by the club about fixed balance point. The apparatus comprises an elongated torque arm pivotally mounted to a base. At one end of the torque arm a pair of rollers cradle the shaft of the golf club from underneath. At the other end of the torque arm a vertical stop provides a reference for locating the butt of the golf club shaft and provides the mounting surface for a second pair of rollers that cradle the upper surface of the shaft at the butt end. The rollers allow the golf club shaft to freely rotate about its longitudinal axis so that the golf club head will hang down freely. A torque sensor is mounted at the pivot point of the torque arm to measure the torque produced by the golf club as it is supported by the torque arm. A simple computer program converts the torque produced by the golf club on the torque arm into swing weights based on the known dimensions, weight and other parameters of the apparatus.

    摘要: A draft protection device (2) has a wind-blocking body (20; 21) that consists of at least two panel elements (20A,20B, 20C; 21A, 21B) and partially encloses the weighing compartment of a balance (1) in which a weighing pan (15) is arranged. The wind-blocking body (20; 21) can be selectively positioned by hand in at least two different orientations. In each of the different orientations at least one opening is available for access to the weighing compartment. The wind-blocking body (20; 21) can be positioned by the user in such a way that the openings resulting from the differently oriented positions allow access to the weighing compartment from different directions.

    摘要: An electronic scale includes: a scale body that has a top surface provided with a weighing tray on which an object to be weighed is to be laid and a display portion which displays a weight of the object to be weighed; and a lid member that is capable of closing the top surface of the scale body and that is capable of opening and closing. A camera that images the top surface of the scale body including the weighing tray and the display portion is provided on the lid member. Alternatively, the camera is provided on the top surface of the scale body and the lid member includes reflection means that reflects an image of the top surface of the scale body including the weighing tray and the display portion toward the camera when the lid member opens, on a surface of the lid member that faces the scale body. The electronic scale is capable of simultaneously imaging the object to be weighed and the displayed weight of the same and eliminates need for a special support structure to support the camera for imaging, and the top surface of the scale body can be closed when the electronic scale is not in use.
