摘要: A light valve containing ABX3 perovskite particles (200) suspended in a liquid suspension (300) that can control light transmittance is provided. The preferable ABX3 perovskite particles (200) are halide ABX3 perovskite particles wherein A is at least one of Cs+, CH3NH3+, and Rb+, B is at least one of Pb2+, Ge2+, and Sn2+, and X is at least one of Cl−, Br−, and I−. Use of the light valve in the manufacture of a light control device and a method of controlling light transmittance by using the light valve are also provided.

摘要: Thicknesses of a light control layer measured in multiple measurement positions are within the range of 0.8 times to 1.2 times the median value of the thicknesses. In a characteristic curve obtained by measuring a change in haze when a drive voltage applied to transparent electrode layers is changed, a first voltage is a lower limit drive voltage in the range in which the change ratio in haze is 0.5%/V or more, a second voltage is the upper limit drive voltage, and the middle value is a value between the first voltage and the second voltage. The variance in the middle value is 40% or less, in which the variance is obtained by dividing a difference between the minimum value and the maximum value, among middle values obtained from the characteristic curves in multiple measurement positions, by an average value of the middle values.

摘要: The present invention provides a reverse mode light valve containing ABX3 perovskite particles; more specifically is related to a light valve containing halide ABX3 perovskite particles that can control light transmittance. This light control valve has the property of higher light transmittance when the power is turned off (OFF state) and lower light transmittance when the power is turned on (ON state). In the halide ABX3 perovskite particles, A is at least one of Cs+, CH3NH3+, and Rb+, B is at least one of Pb2+, Ge2+, and Sn2+, and X is at least one of Cl−, Br−, and I−. This halide ABX3 perovskite particles were suspended in a liquid suspension to make a light valve with a light transmittance control. This light valve performs well and opens up a completely new field of application for ABX3 perovskite materials.
