摘要： An image forming apparatus including: a video memory; a load management unit that loads page data on a print image into the video memory page by page; a print engine that performs printing using the page data stored in the video memory; and a main management unit that, when printing of a page is completed as part of an electronic sort process, causes the video memory to retain the page data if there is a subsequent page to be printed using the same page data as that on the page, and deletes the page data from the video memory if there is no subsequent page to be printed using the same page data as that on the page.

摘要： A printing data generating unit designates a first section (page numbers, etc.) corresponding to a change target part of a before-being-changed document and a second section corresponding to printing data of a changed part. A printing unit includes a replacement processing portion. The replacement processing portion determines whether or not the section of the counted number of sheets of paper matches the first section, and when they match, instructs the printing unit to print the printing data of the changed part corresponding to the second section, and when they do not match, causes the before-being-changed document to be discharged directly from the printing unit, and thereby replacing just the first section of the before-being-changed document with a document of the changed part corresponding to the second section.

The print management device notifies the user of order information with regard to the order for printing the original images, asks the user to permit or deny execution of a print service with regard to the order, and sends the order for the print service to a photo studio for execution of the print service, in response to permission for the order.
