摘要: Systems and methods are provided for performing model-based cochlear implant programming (MOCIP) on a living subject with a cochlear implant (CI) to determine stimulation settings of a patient-customized electro-neural interface (ENI) model. The method includes: localizing an electrode array of the CI and intracochlear structures of the living subject to determine patient-specific electrode positions of the CI and a patient-specific anatomy shape; generating a CI electric field model based on the patient-specific electrodes positions of the CI and the patient-specific anatomy shape; and establishing an auditory nerve fiber (ANF) bundle model using the CI electric field model, and estimating neural health of the living subject using the ANF bundle model applications of the same.

The unfolding of the cavity wall may include: obtaining a mask and a centerline of the organ; obtaining a connected region of the mask; dividing the connected region into at least one equidistant block; determining an orientation of the equidistant block in a three-dimensional coordinate system including a first direction, a second direction and a third direction; determining an initial normal vector and an initial tangent vector of a center point of the centerline; assigning a projection of the initial normal vector to a normal vector of a light direction of the center point; assigning the third direction or an reverse direction of the third direction to a tangent vector of the light direction of the center point.

The processor is configured to, by executing a command of a program stored in the storage device, acquire a three-dimensional medical image, receive an input of information indicating a lesion region included in the medical image, determine, from the medical image, a measurement reference surface serving as a measurement reference for lesion evaluation, three-dimensionally measure a distance between the lesion region and the measurement reference surface, and display a measurement result including information indicating at least one of a closest distance or a farthest distance between the lesion region and the measurement reference surface together with the medical image.

In an embodiment, the computer-implemented method automatically determines a centerline of at least the at least one target blood vessel in the CT data set; defines a region of interest as including at least one defined outer region radius around an extension interval of the centerline, the outer region radius being relatively larger than a radius of the at least one target blood vessel; and calculates at least one quantitative value from CT data in the region of interest.

摘要: An ultrasonic imaging system produces more diagnostic cardiac images of the left ventricle by plotting the longitudinal medial axis of the chamber between the apex and mitral valve plane as a curved line evenly spaced between the opposite walls of the myocardium. Transverse image planes are positioned orthogonal to the curved medial axis with control points positioned in the short axis view on lines evenly spaced around and emanating from the medial axis. If the short axis view is of an oval shaped chamber the transverse image is stretched to give the heart a more rounded appearance resulting in better positioning of editing control points.
