Abstract: A vacuum switch device has a housing, at one end of which a fixed contact is arranged; a bellows, which is fastened on one side to a flange at the other end of the housing and on the other side to a moving contact; and a guide bearing for the moving contact. The bearing is fastened to the flange and guides the moving contact in a sliding manner. The guide bearing is secured on the flange by an adhesive layer. There is also described a method for producing a vacuum switch device.

Abstract: An insulator that has particular application for enclosing a switching device, such as a vacuum interrupter. The insulator includes a body having a top portion and a bottom portion, and a plurality of ring-shaped sheds extending from the body between the top portion and the bottom portion. The sheds are asymmetrical in an axial direction such that an axial dimension of the sheds at one side towards the front of the switching device is shorter than an axial dimension of the sheds at an opposite side towards the rear of the switching device. The axial dimension of the sheds uniformly increases from the one side to the opposite side.

Abstract: A switchgear system includes an enclosure made of dielectric material and containing atmospheric air and a plurality of switch assemblies within the enclosure arranged in a plurality of rows. Each switch assembly is electrically connected to at least one other switch assembly in another row and includes a loadbreak module, a bushing, and a disconnect switch. The loadbreak module includes a fixed contact, a movable contact, and a pair of opposed line terminals electrically coupled to the movable contact. The bushing includes a load terminal, and the disconnect switch is positioned between the load terminal and the fixed contact to selectively break or establish an electrical pathway therebetween. Each disconnect switch of each switch assembly and each movable contact of each switch assembly is coupled with each other disconnect switch and each other movable contact, respectively, of the switch assemblies in the same row to be operable in unison.

Abstract: A switching device for a medium-voltage electrical circuit including: a frame; a vacuum circuit breaker including a fixed electrode relative to the frame and a mobile electrode; an elastic member; and an actuating lever connected to the mobile electrode via the elastic member, The actuating lever is movable between an open position in which the electrodes are separated by an open distance, and a closed position in which the electrodes are in contact. A passage of the actuating lever from the open position to the closed position defines a displacement stroke, greater than the open distance such that the elastic member is compressed when the actuating lever passes from the first position to the second position. Abstract: A circuit breaker includes a frame and first, second and third single-phase vacuum interrupters and first, second and third magnetic actuators connected to respective single-phase vacuum interrupters. A controller is connected to each of the first, second and third magnetic actuators and generates the open or close signal to a respective magnetic actuator to open or close one or more of the first, second and third single phase interrupters.
