摘要： An electrical connector including a housing, conductive contacts arranged in the housing, each of which has a fixed beam fixed to the housing, a movable beam having a contacting projection and an engaging portion and a connecting strut for connecting the movable beam with the fixed beam, and an actuator rotatable for taking up first and second stations selectively and for engaging with the engaging portion of the conductive contact to cause the contacting projection of the conductive contact to come into press-contact with one of connecting terminals arranged on a circuit board having been inserted into the housing when rotated to shift from the first station to the second station, wherein a first side edge portion of the connecting strut on the side of the contacting projection of the movable beam is substantially perpendicular to the fixed beam and a second side edge portion of the connecting strut on the side of the engaging portion of the movable beam slants from the movable beam to the fixed beam so that a first end portion of the connecting strut connected with the fixed beam is wider in a direction along which the fixed beam elongates than a second end portion of the connecting strut connected with the movable beam, and the movable beam swings with a fulcrum at the second end portion of the connecting strut.

摘要： An electrical connector assembly is provided for mounting on a circuit board. The assembly includes a first connector having a first dielectric housing fixed to the circuit board. A plurality of conductive terminals are mounted on the housing and are electrically connected to appropriate circuit traces on the circuit board. A second connector includes a second dielectric housing mateable with the first dielectric housing. A plurality of conductive terminals are mounted on the second housing for engaging the terminals of the first connector when the connectors are mated. At least one locking member is provided on the second dielectric housing and is lockable with the circuit board when the connectors are mated. Therefore, extraneous forces applied to the second connector are passed directly to the circuit board to protect the first connector and its connections to the board.

摘要： A flexible carrier film with a printed circuit thereon is provided in comation with a terminal device which provides a plurality of terminal connection pins. A first part of the printed circuit contains a plurality of conductors, and a second part contains a plurality of resistor strips for supplying voltage levels to each conductor. In order to connect the first and second parts without crossings, a grid of connection strips is provided between the conductor strips and resistor strips and connected thereto. The film is bent along a score line extending through the grid and at a right angle thereto, with the conductor strips and resistor strips located on the outside of the folded film. The film is then clamped to the terminal device at the score line so that each connection strip is clamped on both sides of the score line.

摘要： A first contact and a second contact are inserted into one and the same inserting hole of a housing so that contact portions of the first and second contacts are facing to each other. The first contacts each include the contact portion at one end and a connection portion at the other end. The second contacts each includes a first piece having the contact portion at one end and a pressure receiving portion at the other end, a second piece having connection portion at an outer end, and an elastic jointing-portion for jointing the first piece and the remaining end of the second piece. A pivoting member includes an actuating portion, pushing portions, and anchoring holes. The pushing portions are pivotally moved between the pressure receiving portions and the connection portions of the second contacts, during which pivotal movement, the axis of rotation of the pushing portions is moved with their pivotal movement to achieve their compact rotation. The second contacts are each provided on the second piece with a fixing portion in the proximity of the elastic jointing-portion. The connector constructed as above described prevents the contacts from being warped or deformed when the pivoting member is being pivotally moved, and achieves a stable electrical connection, a reduced overall height of the connector and a high density of the conductors.

摘要： An electrical connector is adapted for terminating a flat cable. The connector includes an elongated dielectric housing defining an elongated opening for receiving a flat electrical cable. A plurality of terminals are mounted on the housing and have contact portions spaced along the opening. An actuator is mounted on the housing for movement between a first position allowing free insertion of the flat cable into the opening and a second position wherein a pressure plate of the actuator biases the cable against the contact portions of the terminals. The actuator includes at least one narrow projection at a leading edge of the pressure plate for preliminarily engaging a narrow portion of the flat cable to bias the cable against only some of the contact portions before the actuator is fully moved to its second position.
