    摘要: A contact 4 for a PGA socket 1 is formed with a plate-like base portion 41, a pair of projecting portions 42a, 42b provided continuously at one end of the base portion 41 to extend in a direction substantially equal to the base portion, a turned portion 43 provided continuously at the other end of the base portion 41 to face the base portion 41, and a tail portion 44 provided continuously at the other end of the base portion 41 not to face the base portion 41. The turned portion 43 is provided with a contact portion 43a contacting a pin of a PGA package on a surface of the turned portion 43 not facing the base portion 41. This prevents flux from adhering on the contact portion 43a of the contact 4 when the contact 4 is soldered on a board.

    摘要: An electrical plug connector having a lower part and a cover which form a housing. At least one terminal point having a receiving pocket is formed within the lower part and the cover. A sub-assembly including a spring tension clamp having an arcuate tension spring, for making contact with electrical conductors, and a conductor rail having a contact region for receiving a mating contact is positioned in the receiving pocket. The cover has an actuator passageway and an angled guide projection extending into the actuator passageway for guiding an actuating tool to actuate the clamp. The angled guide projection is constructed as a web, the arcuate tension spring of the clamp has an aperture, and the angled guide projection reaches through the aperture as the cover is engaged with the lower part placed over the contact sub-assembly.

The contact part extends from the supporting part with successive portions including, first, a downward-facing projection (51) adjacent to the supporting part, a projecting shape (56) extending upward to an apex (56a) and then downward to a bent part (52) at a forward end of the contact part, and an arm part (53) extending upwardly and rearwardly from the bent part to a pair of contact projections (54) which can make electrical connection with the mating body.     摘要: A flat (horizontal) press-fit busbar terminal structure for use in junction boxes, power distribution boxes, and the like at vehicle wiring junctions. Instead of the usual vertical busbar terminal extending through one or more insulation plate layers to be connected to the vertical terminals of a pluggable component, flat press-fit terminals are fastened in horizontal, essentially flush fashion to the surfaces of the flat insulation plates, with horizontally disposed terminal ends for receiving pluggable component terminals therethrough in perpendicular fashion. The flat terminals of the invention greatly reduce the overall height of the junction box, PDB, etc., thereby allowing the vertical component terminals to be used in place of peripheral jumper connections to interconnect one or more layers of busbar terminals.

    摘要: In an electrical connector having at least one contact (2) held in at least one contact accommodating groove (3a) formed in an insulator (3), the contact (2) comprises a base portion (21) press-fitted in the contact accommodating groove (3a), a contact portion (22) projecting (2a) from the contact accommodating groove (3a) upward, and a U-shape spring portion (2b) connecting the base portion (21) and the contact portion (22). The contact accommodating groove (3a) comprises a relatively large width section (3a-1) adjacent to the end wall (3e) and a relatively small width section (3a-2) adjacent to the open end. Opposite side walls at the relatively small width section (3a-2) are formed with press-fit grooves (3d) adjacent to the bottom wall (3c). The base portion (21) of the contact (2) is formed with lateral projections (2c) laterally projecting from the opposite sides of the base portion (21), and the lateral projections (2c) are press-fit in the press-fit grooves (3d) respectively. The base portion (21) of the contact (2) has a slender part which extends between the U-shape spring portion (2b) and the lateral projections (2c) and which is smaller in width than the width of the relatively small width section (3a-2) of the contact accommodating groove (3a).

    摘要: A base plate strip is formed with an extension which is forwardly extending from an electrical contact barrel. A groove is provided in the extension such that the groove is extending across a fore open end of the electrical contact barrel. A fore end extended piece of a resilient contact tongue strip overlies the extension of the base plate strip. The resilient contact tongue strip is cut together with the base plate strip along the fore open end of said electrical contact barrel. This defines a stepped surface in the base plate at the open periphery of the electrical contact barrel and defines an engagement end piece at the fore end of the resilient contact tongue. The engagement end piece engages with the stepped surface to prevent the resilient contact tongue from moving in the insertion direction of an associated pin terminal.

The resilient arms guide the fingers to extend into the grooves to establish an electrical connection between the electrical contacts on the fingers and the resilient arms with a low insertion force.

    摘要: A generally U-shaped clamp may be used to connect a charging cable to a terminal of a storage battery to be charged. The clamp includes an elongated main body portion having a longitudinally extending axis and spaced ends. The clamp further includes a first elongated leg member connected to the main body portion at one of its ends. The first leg member extends away from the main body portion in a direction transverse to the axis and has a clamping end segment disposed in laterally spaced relationship to the axis. The clamp also includes second elongated leg member connected to the main body portion at the opposite end thereof from the first leg member. The second leg member also extends away from the main body portion in essentially the same direction as the first leg member and the same has an electrically conductive cable connector carrying end segment disposed in laterally spaced relationship to the clamping end segment of the first leg member. An electrically conductive cable connector is carried by the electrically conductive cable connector carrying end segment and the leg members are configured and arranged so as to embrace a battery therebetween with the electrically conductive cable connector in contact with a terminal on one of the sides of the battery and with the clamping end segment in contact with an opposite side of the battery. The leg members are resiliently biased toward one another to securely place the electrically conductive cable connector into electrical conducting contact with the terminal.
