摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for converting ubiquitous language instructions to robotic process automation executable action steps and executing the action steps. A managing system receives an encrypted user input from a computing device of the user, where the user input comprises instructions entered in ubiquitous language (e.g., common vernacular, or other non-complex programming language). The user input is decrypted and an action keyword is identified from the ubiquitous language instructions. The action keyword for each instruction is compared to a conversion database to determine a set of execution steps associated with each action keyword. These execution steps are in a format that enables a robotic process automation system to perform the execution steps. The set of execution steps is then transmitted to the robotic process automation system that automatically performs the set of execution steps through a workstation or other operating station of the user.

摘要: System and method for merging graphical programs. Information is received regarding first, second, and third graphical programs, where the third graphical program is an ancestor graphical program of the first and second. The information is analyzed to determine differences among the graphical programs. The first and second graphical programs are merged based on the determined differences, generating a merged graphical program, which is displayed. The analyzing may include determining first differences between the first and third graphical programs, and determining second differences between the second and third graphical programs, where the merging includes: for each of at least a subset of the differences: if the difference does not conflict with any other differences, incorporating the difference into the merged graphical program; and if the difference conflicts with another difference, prompting the user to resolve the conflict, receiving user input resolving the conflict, and modifying the merged graphical program accordingly.

摘要: A method and apparatus for removing blocking artifacts in an encoder/decoder system. The encoder includes a delay device for delaying original input frame data, a decoder for decoding the compressed data and outputting the restored frame data, and a blocking artifact measurer which receives the restored frame data and the original frame data, and measures the degree of blocking artifact using the above two frame data so as to generate a predetermined post-processing parameter. The post-processing parameter is transmitted to the receiver/decoder together with the encoded data. The decoder includes a receiver for receiving the encoded data and the post-processing parameter, a second decoder for decoding and restoring the encoded transmission data, and a filter for adaptively filtering the restored data output from the second decoder according to the post-processing parameter. As a result, the blocking artifact of the block boundary is removed from the encoded data such that a user does not notice any reduction in the picture quality.

摘要: In an image processing apparatus and method, such a problem that the user must wait for a long time until region separation processing is completed is solved. A binary-coding unit performs binary coding of a luminance component of input color-image data. An encoding unit performs arithmetic encoding of the binary image data, and another encoding unit performs block encoding of the color-image data, and codes obtained from the two encoding units are stored in different storage units. A predetermined pair of codes read from the storage unit are decoded by decoding units. A region discrimination unit discriminates image regions of decoded binary image data, and outputs data of charcter-line-drawing regions. A color-gradation-image extraction unit extracts data of color-gradation-image regions from decoded color-image data.

摘要: A code converting system for converting a digital signal having a given number of bits into a digital signal having a different number of bits, which selectively alters the encoding method depending on the nature of the input to the system. The system includes a variable length encoder; a run-length encoder; a multiplexer for selecting as its output either the variable length code or the run-length code; a buffer memory for receiving and storing the output of the multiplexer, supplying it to a transmission line, and generating a signal indicative of the level of memory occupancy of the buffer memory; and control means for controlling the multiplexer so as to output only variable length code when the memory occupancy is below a first predetermined level. The control means further comprises an underflow signal generator for generating a signal indicative of when the memory occupancy is less than the first predetermined level. The underflow signal is supplied to a gate, which transfers it as a selection signal to control the multiplexer so as to output only said variable length code when such underflow occurs. In the absence of an underflow indication signal, the gate is enabled to pass the input code, to the run-length encoder to be converted into a run-length code. The control means is also adjustable so as to control the level of memory occupancy of the buffer memory.

摘要: Systems and methods evaluate simulation models and measure floating point arithmetic errors in terms of Unit in Last Place (ULP). The simulation model may include model elements that perform numerical computations using Native Floating Point (NFP) arithmetic. The model elements may be arranged to implement a procedure. A data store may include local ULP errors predetermined for the model elements. The systems and methods may retrieve the local ULP errors for the model elements included in the model, and may apply a rules-based analysis to compute an overall ULP error of the simulation model. The systems and methods may present the overall ULP computed for the model. The systems and methods may also present intermediate ULP errors determined for portions of the simulation model. Changes may be made to the model to reduce the overall ULP error.

摘要: Aspects of dynamic data compression selection are presented. In an example method, as uncompressed data chunks of a data stream are compressed, at least one performance factor affecting selection of one of multiple compression algorithms for the uncompressed data chunks of the data stream may be determined. Each of the multiple compression algorithms may facilitate a different expected compression ratio. One of the multiple compression algorithms may be selected separately for each uncompressed data chunk of the data stream based on the at least one performance factor. Each uncompressed data chunk may be compressed using the selected one of the multiple compression algorithms for the uncompressed data chunk.
