    摘要: In a P-MP fixed wireless access system using quasi-millimeter and millimeter wave bands, a relaying path is autonomously set up for subscriber stations without the need for additional provision of a repetition radio circuit using a costly MMIC. A subscriber station in the fixed wireless access system is provided with a repeating function for relaying signals between a different subscriber station and a base station, a buffer memory for temporarily storing signals to be communicated therebetween, and a table for registering information for identifying a relaying path between an own reference wireless station and a lower-level subscriber station for signal repetition. The base station is provided with a table in which, in order to perform signal communication with an arbitrary subscriber registered in the base station, routing information is registered for determining whether or not to set up a relaying path via a different subscriber station registered in the base station.

    摘要: A wireless communications system for use with an elevator system in a building includes a first transceiver connected to an elevator controller and a second transceiver located remotely within the building. The first and second transceivers each have antennas which allow wireless transmission of data between the transceivers. A building monitoring center is hard-wired to the second transceiver to allow personnel to monitor and interact with each elevator controller. A third transceiver and antenna are located outside of the building and are connected to a central monitoring station to allow remote monitoring and interaction with each elevator controller. The wireless communications system can be used with a network of elevators where each elevator has a unique electronic address to allow discreet wireless communications with a specific elevator.

    摘要: The mobil base station is disclosed having a computer readable storage medium for information and mobil wireless communication circuitry for performing wireless communication with a user in its broadcast area. In a complimentary configuration, the user has a terminal with a computer readable storage medium for storing information and terminal wireless communication circuitry for cooperating with the mobil wireless communication circuitry to facilitate wireless communication therebetween. The mobil base station performs a wireless transfer of information by moving to the user's particular geographical area such that its broadcast area includes the user's terminal. Using the mobil wireless communication circuitry and the terminal wireless communication circuitry, a wireless communication link is established. A transfer of information then occurs between the storage medium of the mobile base station and the storage medium of the terminal via the wireless communication link.

    摘要: A leaky waveguide antenna array that receives and/or transmits electromagnetic signals includes a plurality of radiation waveguides disposed in parallel to each other on a surface plane to form the antenna array. A feed waveguide is located below the surface plane and provides an electromagnetic signal to the plurality of radiation waveguides and/or receives a plurality of electromagnetic signals from the plurality of radiation waveguides and provides a composite electromagnetic signal at an output of the feed waveguide. Each of the plurality of radiation waveguides has a waveguide axis and includes a plurality of apertures arranged in a direction of the waveguide axis. The feed waveguide includes a first section of waveguide having a first end connected to an input/output port. The first section of waveguide has a height substantially the same as the height of each of the plurality of radiation waveguides and the first section of waveguide has a second end coupled to a first junction point. The first junction point transitions from the first section of waveguide to a second section of waveguide and a third section of waveguide that each have a height that is substantially half of the height of the first section of waveguide. The second section of waveguide transitions with an upward sloping ramp to the substantially half height of the first section of waveguide. The third section of waveguide transitions with a downward sloping ramp to the substantially half height of the first section of waveguide.

A radio frequency uplink path and a radio frequency downlink path are coupled between the donor antenna and the null antenna. An adaptive cancellation circuit in each of the radio frequency uplink path and the radio frequency downlink path generates a cancellation signal, which when added to a radio frequency signal in either of the radio frequency uplink and radio frequency downlink paths, substantially cancels any feedback signal present in the radio frequency signal.
