Abstract: Method and system are provided for scoring events as likely cause events in a resource network. The method processes incoming events relating to resources in a resource network to correlate related events as a related group and maps the events of the related group onto nodes of a sub-topology representing resources of the resource network and having edges representing relationships between the resources. The method scores each event by discovering one or more paths between the node event and other node events of the related group, with the scoring based on a combination of an event classification weight and a discovered path score of aggregated relationship scores of edges of a discovered path.

Abstract: Some embodiments are directed to a session manager, a cloud service system, and a mobile device. The session manager may be configured for managing an edge computing resource in a mobile network, wherein the mobile network comprises edge nodes which are configurable to provide edge computing resources to mobile devices. The session manager may generate a session identifier for the mobile device and associate the session identifier with the mobile device. Later, the session manager may receive a request from the cloud service system for deployment of an edge computing resource for the mobile device on an edge node.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for data management are described. A data management system may include a control-plane common to multiple customers, where customer data for each customer is stored on a private data plane (e.g., at a remote node cluster). Each node cluster includes a controller which manages the nodes of the node cluster. A taskchain controller of the control plane may directly communicate with the nodes of the multiple node clusters, for example, via respective proxy services hosted at the node controllers or via respective service buses. The taskchain controller may communicate a command to add a new node to the node controller, and the node controller may create a new node based on the command. Future communications (e.g., commands to perform data protection tasks such as backup or restore operations) may be routed to the node via the proxy service or a service bus.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and apparatus for processing load balancing of a Kubernetes cluster, and a storage medium, wherein the method comprises: acquiring traffic configuration rules for controllers in the Kubernetes cluster by a central control component of the Kubernetes cluster; sending the traffic configuration rules to a proxy container corresponding to each of the controllers; and controlling data interaction between an API server and the controllers through the proxy container based on the traffic configuration rules. According to the present disclosure, the technical problem that load balancing is difficult to achieve due to single-point operation of the controllers caused by a single master is solved.

Abstract: Systems and methods for processing a DNS query to identify and implement pre-processing information by a DNS server component in anticipation of a corresponding content request from a client computing device are provided. The pre-processing information can correspond to identification of content to be preloaded or other actions to be implemented by one or more computing devices in association with an anticipated client content request. Based on identification of the content or future actions, a DNS server component can provide the pre-processing information to one or more computing devices, such as computing devices of a CDN service provider and/or an original content provider, in advance of a corresponding request for content from the client computing device in order to improve performance associated with responding to the client request.

Abstract: A load balancing algorithm and cluster configuration details are stored at each of a set of namespace nodes of a cluster hosting a deduplicated file system. Upon a client connecting to a namespace node, a server-initiated communication channel is established between the namespace node and the client over which updates to the load balancing algorithm, cluster configuration details, or both are sent. The load balancing algorithm and cluster configuration details are sent to the client, thereby allowing the client to determine according to the load balancing algorithm and cluster configuration details, which particular namespace node should handle a particular file system operation. Thereafter, each connected client is immediately notified of changes to the cluster such as node or service additions or deletions or software upgrades to the cluster so that each client can use the updated information to conduct load balancing.

Abstract: A communication method and a communication apparatus that can be used for application instance switching in a multi-access edge computing (MEC) scenario. The method includes: an MEC network element obtains information about a source application instance of an application accessed by a terminal device and information about a target application instance of the application. The MEC network element sends a first message to a first MEC platform, where the first message is used to request to migrate a user context of the application from the source application instance to the target application instance, the source application instance is deployed on the first MEC platform, and the target application instance is deployed on a second MEC platform. The MEC network element receives a second message from the first MEC platform, where the second message indicates a migration state of the user context of the application.

Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein prevent data spillage in multi-tenant services via request and response containerization with provenance checks. When a web request is received on behalf of a tenant, a request container is created and initialized with identifying information extracted from the request. Derived identifiers that can be verified as being associated with the tenant may be added to the request container. A response container for accumulating data obtained while processing the request is then created. The request and response containers are passed throughout the call path that processes the request. Identifying information passed to data access operations is obtained from the request container, while results of data access operations are stored in the response container. Before generating a web response using data from the response container, the response container is verified to contain data associated with the appropriate request.
