The mobile device can have a sensor arrangement, and with such sensor arrangement, it is possible to receive at least one second electro-magnetic radiation that is based on the first radiation(s) from at least one section of the SECM system. The mobile device can further include a computer arrangement, with which it is possible to display at least one portion of the anatomical structure(s) as a microscopic image based on the second radiation(s) received by the sensor arrangement.

A portable electronic device for measuring a physical quantity has at least one sensor device that measures and converts the value or variation of a physical quantity into an analog electrical signal and an electronic device, which acquires the analog electrical signal, converts it into digital format and calculates the engineering value in real time. The device includes two distinct physical units: the first physical unit is a smart mobile electronic device, having an electrical input connecting port for a microphone jack connector, a sound card provided to receive input signals from the connecting port and send them to a processing unit, connected to the card for processing and subsequent emission and/or storage as an output by way of corresponding emission and/or storage; the second physical unit includes the at least one electrical/electronic sensor device, a jack connector corresponding to the microphone connecting port on the first unit, and an electrical/electronic component that converts the analog electrical signal into a frequency value and transmits it to the output jack connector; and wherein the first physical unit includes hardware and software that: receive the analog electrical signal, generated by the at least one sensor device, in the connecting port and convert it into a series of discrete values, the number of which in one second corresponds to the sampling frequency of the smart mobile electronic device; acquire and read the discrete sampled values, in binary data format; store the data in a buffer memory; read the buffer memory and decode the binary data into numerical data; calculate the value of the frequency of the sampled signal by way of a dedicated algorithm; convert, using dedicated software means, the calculated frequency value into a corresponding engineering value for the physical quantity measured, in real time, such that the engineering value for the physical quantity measured is emitted as an output by means of the smart mobile electronic device.

The mobile device may receive the light and/or sound signals with sensors, such as cameras and/or microphones, and may process the light and/or sound signals to obtain information encoded within the signals. The mobile device may decode detected signaling information and identify connectivity data that may be used to join and transmit messages to the communication group. In an embodiment, light and/or sound signals related to unknown third parties may be used by the mobile device to identify the third party based on queries to the communication group. In an embodiment, the mobile device may determine parameters for receiving and/or transmitting signals based on ambient conditions, such as ambient noise.

An object or a device connected to an object emits a signal containing an electronic address of the remotely located entity. The portable device includes a button and a wireless receiver. The wireless receiver receives and automatically captures the signal emitted by the object or the device connected to the object without selection of any buttons on the portable device. The portable device automatically establishes communication with the remotely located entity upon selection by the user of the button. One of the systems includes a base station wirelessly transmitting to an accessory device. The base station receives the telephone call via a communications network. The network-associated information represents signaling within the communications network, and the network-associated information lies outside a voice-portion of the telephone call. The accessory device includes a receiver and a display, with the receiver receiving the network-associated information and the display presenting the network-associated information. When the telephone call is received, the accessory device presents the network-associated information to the subscriber, thus informing the subscriber of the network-associated information associated with the telephone call.

A method for adapting supplementary equipment, such as automatic answering equipments, intercommunication stations, automatic dialers and the like, to an analog telecommunications terminal as well as to a technical device for the implementation of the method. The supplementary equipment is inserted into the voice-communication path of the terminal in that the network access line of the terminal is accessed and in that the picked-off incoming voice signal is sent to the supplementary equipment and to a voice input/output unit electrically separate from the terminal equipment. Outgoing signals are generated by the supplementary equipment and/or by the voice input/output unit and are, in turn, fed into the network access line. Conversely, dialing and other control signals are transmitted directly between terminal equipment and telephone network via the network access line.
