    摘要: A telecommunication network includes first subscribers supported by a first local telecommunication switch. A first signal is received from the first switch at a second telecommunication switch disposed at a hierarchical level above the first switch. The first signal indicates to the second switch that features based on organizational affiliation of the calling party are to be provided. A second signal is received at the second switch from the first switch indicative of the identification of the calling party. A record in a database coupled to the second switch is located in response to receiving the second signal; the location of the record being based on the identification of the calling party. A group affiliation parameter stored in said record is identified; the group affiliation parameter defines one organization of which the calling party is a member. The second switch transmits a call setup message to a third switch associated with a called party. The call setup message includes the group affiliation parameter so that the calling party's membership in the one organization is available for further call processing.

    摘要: A system is presented for accessing a plurality of central office lines, PBX, etc. by a plurality of stations and for exchanging signals between the stations. Each station is provided with a self-sufficient microprocessor which controls all the functions of the station. The microprocessors exchange control signals to indicate the status of each station and each line. A common intercom line is provided for both audio signals and control signals. Each station is assigned a unique address so that each station is able to dial up another station for intercom communication by generating the proper control signals.Each station is also provided with a switch matrix for selectively accessing any of the lines, line status indicating means, and line holding means which is automatically released when any station accesses the held line.

    摘要: In a digital telephone system, a digital private automatic branch exchange (PABX) has a plurality of digital line cards for coupling the PABX to respective digital subscriber sets via subscriber lines. In each digital line card, a digital loop transceiver operates in a master mode to couple the digital data bus of the PABX to the subscriber line via a subscriber line interface circuit in response to control signals provided by the PABX on the control bus thereof. In each digital subscriber set, a digital loop transceiver operates in a slave mode to couple the subscriber set to the subscriber line via a subscriber line interface circuit and to provide the several control signals required by the other components thereof. The digital loop transceivers provide communication on each of two communication channels, with the digital data words of the first channel being treated the same as the digital data words of the second channel.

    摘要: A key telephone system uses four wires for transmission of voice and audio signals to and from the telephone stations and other components which are part of the system. A plurality of telephone stations are provided, each having a two wire audio input port, a separate two wire audio output port, and a data port. Communcation paths are established through a crosspoint matrix. The matrix includes a first group of addressable crosspoint switches for coupling selected transmit signal paths to selected first link points. A second group of such switches is provided for coupling selected receive signal paths to selected second link points. A third group of such switches couples selected first link points to selected second link points. A link searching routine determines which links are available for effecting communication paths. A minimizing function shares communication paths among common signals when possible.

    摘要: A two-path intercom system wherein a first link or path is non-exclusive and the second link or path is exclusive. When the system is idle, the first call is automatically switched to the second link or path when the called party answers. While the first conversation is taking place on an exclusive basis, a subsequent call will be switched to the first link or path, on a non-exclusive basis. The subsequent call is automatically switched to the exclusive second link or path when said second link or path becomes idle. The system includes a conference feature whereby tone dialing phones may switch up to three stations to the second link for a private conference. An intercom code not assigned to a station is used to set up the conference. A conference on the first link may be established when the second link is busy; when the second link becomes idle, the conference is automatically switched to the second link. In the idle state all stations are connected internally to the first link or path. The first station to go off hook is switched over to the second link or path and is connected to a selector unit. When that station places a call, the called party is also switched to the second link or path upon answering. Until both parties go on hook, every other station and the selector unit are connected to the first link or path, which then acts as a single-link intercom system.
