摘要: The present disclosure relates to a display device, a display panel and a method of manufacturing the same, and relates to display technology. The display panel of the present disclosure includes a driving backplane, a first planarization layer, a second planarization layer, light-emitting devices and photoelectric sensing devices. The first planarization layer is provided on one side of the driving backplane. The second planarization layer is provided on a surface of the first planarization layer distal to the driving backplane, and the second planarization layer is provided with sensing holes. The light-emitting devices are provided on a surface of the second planarization layer distal to the driving backplane and are located outside the sensing holes. The photoelectric sensing devices are provided on a surface of the second planarization layer distal to the driving backplane, and each of the photoelectric sensing devices is at least partially located inside the sensing hole.

摘要: A display device having a photosensing function is provided. A display device having a biometric authentication function typified by fingerprint authentication is provided. A display device having a touch panel function and a biometric authentication function is provided. The display device includes a first substrate, a light guide plate, a first light-emitting element, a second light-emitting element, and a light-receiving element. The first substrate and the light guide plate are provided to face each other. The first light-emitting element and the light-receiving element are provided between the first substrate and the light guide plate. The first light-emitting element has a function of emitting first light through the light guide plate. The second light-emitting element has a function of emitting second light to a side surface of the light guide plate. The light-receiving element has functions of receiving the first light and converting the first light into an electric signal and functions of receiving the second light and converting the second light into an electric signal. The first light includes visible light, and the second light includes infrared light.

摘要: An apparatus and method are provided for a night vision system that integrates functions of detecting an intensified image and transmitting the intensified image superimposed with a heads-up display. The night vision system includes an optical device having a transparent display configured with pixels emitting display light (i.e., the heads-up display), and the transparent display has transmission regions arranged among the pixels for transmitting light representing an intensified image (e.g., luminescent light from a phosphor screen). Light rays passing through the transmission regions also pass through detectors, which detect light outside of the visible spectrum (e.g., UV light). By detecting light outside of the visible spectrum, the detectors detect the intensified image without degrading the image in the visible spectrum that is provided to users.

The display device includes a first substrate, a light guide plate, a plurality of first light-emitting elements, a second light-emitting element, and a plurality of light-receiving elements. The light guide plate includes a first portion having a first surface and a second portion having a second surface that connects with the first surface and has a different normal direction from the first surface. The first light-emitting elements and the light-receiving elements are provided between the first substrate and the light guide plate. The first light-emitting elements have a function of emitting first light through the light guide plate, and the second light-emitting element has a function of emitting second light to a side surface of the light guide plate. The light-receiving elements have a function of receiving the second light and converting the second light to an electric signal. The first light includes visible light, and the second light includes infrared light.

摘要: An object is to provide a highly reliable display unit having a function of sensing light. The display unit includes a light-receiving device and a light-emitting device. The light-receiving device includes an active layer between a pair of electrodes. The light-emitting device includes a hole-injection layer, a light-emitting layer, and an electron-transport layer between a pair of electrodes. The light-receiving device and the light-emitting device share one of the electrodes, and may further share another common layer between the pair of electrodes. The hole-injection layer is in contact with an anode and contains a first compound and a second compound. The electron-transport property of the electron-transport layer is low; hence, the light-emitting layer is less likely to have excess electrons. Here, the first compound is the material having a property of accepting electrons from the second compound.
