    摘要: The feeder device located at the centre section of a front of a harvester. The feeder device comprises one or more flights configured for improving operation of the feeder device. The feeder device comprises a shaft including a plurality of flights. They extend substantially along the entire length of the shaft and are arranged in a spaced apart relationship with respect to each other. In this manner, a threaded-like formation defined by the spaced apart arrangement of flights extends substantially along the entire length of the shaft of the feeder device.

    摘要: An agricultural cutting device has knife bar sections with section knife blades. A drive with phase offset drives the knife bar sections at least temporarily in opposite directions. The section knife blades interact scissor-like with counter knives. The knife bar sections have adjacently positioned bar ends. When the knife bar sections move, a gap of varying size is formed between the bar ends. A mowing finger is arranged at the gap. A stationary knife blade with first cutting edges is arranged at the mowing finger. The first cutting edges are arranged adjacent to the mowing finger and extend at a slant relative to a forward travel direction of the cutting device so that the cutting edges have a V-shaped arrangement broadening in travel direction. The knife bar sections have an outer knife blade attached to the bar ends whose cutting edges extend parallel to the travel direction.

    摘要: In a sickle cutting system, it has been found that a significant decrease in cutting inefficiency, which is measured by calculating the area of the cutting process where crop is not immediately cut but is instead pushed forwardly by engagement with a surface of the system, can be obtained by a combination of one or more of the features where the cutting stroke is reduced from the conventional length of 3.0 inches to a value of the order of 2.0 inches; the length of the cutting edge of each knife blade is increased to a length greater than 2.2 inches; the width at the rear of the ledger surface of each guard is increased to greater than 1.0 inches; and the front edge of the blade is formed with an apex to shed crop material to one or other side of the apex.
