摘要： A dispensing device, comprising a container, one or more support members mechanically coupled to one or more of the lateral walls, a base which has one or more supporting arms and a cover element mechanically coupled to one or more of the supporting arms to remain fixed while said container rotates around said rotation axis. The container includes a storage portion defined by a circumferential wall and two or more lateral walls with a dispensing opening defined in the circumferential wall. The supporting arm(s) support rotation of the container from a closed state to an open state and vice versa. The rotation is held around a rotation axis defined by a location of the support member(s). The cover element covers the dispensing opening when the container is rotated into the closed state and does not cover the dispensing opening when the container is rotated into the open state.

摘要： A container for dispensing comestibles, such as a dry cereal dispenser, is provided that is generally designed to be capable of being fully cleaned and sanitized in order to avoid exposing the comestibles to contamination. In this regard, the various components of the container, such as the handle, the lid and the bottom closure, are advantageously mounted to the vessel such that the inner surface of the vessel with which the comestible is in contact is smooth and uninterrupted and, therefore, capable of being thoroughly cleaned. By including a removable bottom closure, the container may capable of being refilled through the bottom, opposite the open top through which the comestible is dispensed, to prevent stagnation of the comestible in lower portions of the container.

摘要： This disclosure is directed to a custom coffee blending apparatus whereby a customer can personally blend a plurality of different coffee beans to design an individualized blend. This is attained by an apparatus having a plurality of hoppers, each containing a supply of coffee beans that are grown in various coffee producing regions. The discharge opening of the respective hoppers is connected into communication with conduits having disposed therein a feeder for directing the coffee to a collecting station wherein the respective coffee beans received from the respective hoppers are collected and thereafter selectively bagged, either in the whole bean state or in the ground state, weight checked, and/or having a label printed to identify the make up or amount of the various coffees comprising the final coffee blend. The operation of the apparatus is controlled by a central process unit (CPU) that is operated by the individual customer.

摘要： A storage bin for wood chips or like products has sidewalls including a pair of opposite bottom walls which inwardly converge in the downward direction and are inclined to the horizontal at an angle substantially greater than the angle of repose of the product. Such bottom walls terminate short of their line of convergence to define a bottom opening in the bin. A gate is mounted below the opening to permit the product to discharge therethrough. A longitudinally extending interior baffle is positioned within the bin to divide the interior thereof into two longitudinally contiguous compartments. A hydraulic piston and cylinder position the lower portion of the baffle alternatively at least parallel to each of the inwardly converging bottom walls. When the baffle is in a position parallel to one of the bottom walls, a longitudinally extending interior compartment is formed with generally parallel sidewalls which compartment is readily emptied when the gate is opened. When the baffle is then rotated to a position at least parallel to the other bottom wall, the remaining portion of the product in the bin is readily discharged.

The storage compartment features a door that opens to enable access to a coffee ground canister. The coffee ground canister is connected to a funnel that extends down to a dispensing member. The dispensing member is responsible for receiving a pre-defined amount of coffee grounds into a receptacle, tamping said pre-defined amount of coffee grounds inside of said receptacle via a plunger member, and then dispensing a tamped amount of pre-defined coffee grounds from said receptacle into a reusable single-serve coffee pod. The receptacle features an outlet that is positioned above a coffee pod support bracket. A dispenser conduit is seated inside of the receptacle, and includes a dispenser port.

A disposable candy dispenser, made of inexpensive and lightweight materials is disclosed, the dispenser including an internal storage region, a front dispensing area, and a front window that contains candy in a position where it can be viewed by potential consumers. A visible product window is also disclosed which displays the contained product and which includes a means for opening the window such that the contents of the window may be moved to another like dispenser, and then dispensed. A removable divider is also disclosed which temporarily separates a storage region from a front open region into which the contents of the window of a like dispenser may be emptied, and which may then be removed subsequent to such filling of the receiving region. The dispenser may be shipped to a vending site with the storage region and window filled with candy, with the removable divider in place, and the receiving region unfilled.

摘要： A coffee blending apparatus for automatically custom blending two or more different types of coffee beans with or without added flavoring to an individual's personalized blend and/or flavor. The apparatus includes a plurality of supply hoppers, each containing a particular type of coffee bean, each hopper having a controlled discharge opening from which the coffee beans are selectively discharged in predetermined amounts onto a weighing apparatus or scale for weighing. The selected coffee beans forming the desired blend are then mixed to form a homogeneous blend of coffee beans and from where the blended beans are directed to either a grinding station or bagging station as an unflavored blend, or to a flavoring station wherein the homogeneously blended coffee beans are mixed with a desired flavoring ingredient. In one form of the invention, a scale having a discharge opening is interposed between the supply hoppers and the mixer where the coffee beans are blended. In another form of the invention, the mixer also functions as the scale for weighing the blended coffee beans. In either embodiment, the apparatus is controlled by a central processing unit (CPU) for controlling and sequencing the operation of the apparatus, whereby an individual customer may automatically customize his or her own personal coffee blend, with or without added flavoring.
