摘要: A method for producing a TiAl alloy member includes a molding step (S10) of laminating a solidified body obtained by melting and solidifying or sintering powder of a TiAl alloy by irradiation of the powder with a beam, to mold a laminated body; and a heat treatment step (S12) of heating the laminated body at a setting temperature that is equal to or higher than a temperature at which a phase transformation to an α phase is initiated, to produce a TiAl alloy member. By the method for producing a TiAl alloy member, the TiAl alloy member can be easily molded with a decrease in high temperature properties suppressed.

摘要: A modular system for performing additive manufacturing of an object includes at least two additive manufacturing devices, each having a housing with two slots on lateral sides to accommodate a manufacturing tray; a printer head and axis system; and a movement mechanism. A control module is operatively coupled to each of the at least two additive manufacturing devices. The control module is configured to control the at least two additive manufacturing devices to arrange the manufacturing tray in a first of the at least two additive manufacturing devices; print a part of the object on the manufacturing tray arranged in the first additive manufacturing device; move the manufacturing tray having the partially manufactured object to a second of the at least two additive manufacturing devices; and print a remaining part of the object on the manufacturing tray to complete the additive manufacturing of the object.

摘要: The present aspects include an additive manufacturing (AM) system, comprising: a plurality of stations arranged proximate to one another. The plurality of stations includes at least: a first station and a second station; a first AM subsystem configured to dock at the first station and perform a first subsystem AM process; a second AM subsystem configured to dock at the second station and perform a second subsystem AM process; and a third AM subsystem configured to move between the first station and the second station. The AM system further includes a controller configured to control the third AM subsystem to perform an third subsystem AM process at the first station while the first AM subsystem is docked, to move the third AM subsystem from the first station to the second station, and to perform the third subsystem AM process at the second station while the second AM subsystem is docked.

摘要: According to examples, an apparatus may include a build platform and a chamber. The chamber may support a layer forming station including a spreading component to spread a layer of build material particles onto the build platform and an agent delivery component to apply fusing agent onto selected locations on the spread layer of build material particles and a heating station including a heating component to apply energy onto the spread layer of build material particles and the applied fusing agent, in which the heating station is separated from the layer forming station. The apparatus may also include an actuator to move the chamber with respect to the build platform or vice versa while maintaining the separation between the layer forming station and the heating station.

摘要: A system and method for additive manufacturing are provided. The system for additive manufacturing can include a fabrication robot configured to perform a fabrication process within a pipe, and a support robot configured to support the fabrication robot. The fabrication process may include the fabrication robot depositing a material on the pipe, thus consuming material throughout the fabrication process. The support robot may traverse between an entrance of the pipe and the fabrication robot to obtain additional material and to refill the fabrication robot and the material is consumed. The support robot may further be configured to install and remove one or more tether management rings along bends within the pipe, such that the tether management rings can reduce drag caused by a tether of the fabrication robot.

摘要: A powder bed fusion apparatus for building an object in a layer-by-layer manner includes a build platform movable within a build sleeve to define a build volume, a layer formation device for forming layers of powder across the build volume in a working plane and an irradiation device for irradiating powder in the working plane to selectively fuse the powder. The powder bed fusion apparatus further includes a mechanical manipulator arranged to engage with the object and/or a build substrate, to which the object is attached, to tilt the object in a raised position above the working plane such that powder is freed from the object and deposited at a location above the working plane and/or into the build volume.

摘要: A galactic extrusion manufacturing (GEM) system for performing an extrusion process includes an extruder assembly for extruding building material during the extrusion process, and a connection system including a robotic arm-tether-crimper for attachment of the GEM system to space bound vehicles and/or structures in space or on orbit. The extrusion assembly includes an extruder head outfitted with multiple different heads for shaping the building material during the extrusion process, at least one power cartridge, and at least one building material cartridge containing the building material, wherein the power cartridge and the building material cartridge are removable and replaceable. Also provided are a building material cartridge for use with a GEM system or a dispensing control unit (DCU) to perform an extrusion process, and a smart extrusion system including a building material cartridge and a DCU.
