    摘要: A composite material structure can be constructed using an airforming process that includes filling the inflated support mold with a fluid structural material and allowing the fluid structural material to harden within the support mold. Additional steps can include inflating the support mold with a first fluid, forming fluid escape outlets in the support mold, and removing the support mold after allowing the fluid structural material to harden. The first fluid can be air, the support mold can be a fiberglass resin, and/or the fluid structural material can be a concrete composite material. Fluid can escape through the fluid escape outlets during the filling. The finished structure can include multiple structural components formed from a homogenous concrete composite material and having curved and non-planar geometries. The concrete composite material can include aluminum alloy fibers.

The compacting wall retraction mechanism(s) facilitate release of a compacted lightweight concrete block from the compactable lightweight concrete block mold. The system can include a mold feed conveyor, and a table for receiving the compactable lightweight concrete block mold from the mold feed conveyor. The system can include one or more tube extraction and re-insertion mechanisms for extracting or inserting tubes of a compactable mold. The system can include one or more end wall lock release mechanisms for releasing end walls to remove a molded block from the mold. Mold assembly and disassembly can be controlled by an electronic or computerized controller.

    摘要: The method for manufacturing parts comprises the steps of a) providing material (3); b) providing a first tool comprising at least one set comprising at least one segment (1); c) providing a second tool comprising at least one first and at least one second set of at least one segment (2a;2b) each, said segments (2a;2b), when arranged next to each other in a predefined way, referred to as closed position, form a second-tool surface describing the shape of a portion of a surface of said part to be manufactured; d) moving the at least one segments (2a) of said first set of said second tool into said closed position; e) moving the at least one segments (2b) of said second set of said second tool towards and into said closed position; f) compressing between at least said first and second tools at least a portion of said material (3), in particular at least substantially all of said material (3), by applying pressure to at least one of said first and second tools. Therein, said segments (2a;2b) of said second tool are moved such that continually during moving of the at least one segments (2b) of said second set of said second tool towards said closed position, a momentary travel distance up to said closed position for the at least one segments (2b) of said second set of said second tool exceeds a momentary travel distance up to said closed position for the at least one segments (2a) of said first set of said second tool. This allows to produce parts of fiber-reinforced plastics, in particular ring-like shaped parts, such as wheels and rims.

    摘要: A product and method where a multi-colored product is rotationally molded with no or essentially no blending of the colors. A separation sheet is positioned in the mold to separate relatively adjacent portions of the mold cavity that contain differently colored resins. The separation sheet acts as a barrier to prevent the differently colored resins from blending during the molding process. During the molding process, the molten resins may fuse to opposite sides of the separation sheet, or the separation sheet may melt and disperse, all or in part, within the mold while maintaining a distinct color difference between the differently colored portions of the molded product.

    摘要: The invention provides apparatus for use in connection with the casting of bodies, e.g. of concrete panels, which are to contain within them one or more anchor members which extend towards the surface of the body and are accessible within recesses formed in said surface. The releasible attachment of a recess former to an anchor to form an assembly for use in the casting of a body in which body the anchor is to be secured during casting and from which body the recess former is to be removed after casting to leave a cast recess containing a portion of the anchor is provided in which a connector member is applied to the said portion of the anchor to engage at least one formation provided on said anchor, the connector member and the said portion of the anchor are placed into a cavity in the recess former, and the connector member is releasably secured in the cavity, the arrangement being such that the walls of the cavity bear on the connector member to prevent the disengagement thereof from the said formations on the anchor while the connector member is in the cavity in the recess former.
