摘要： A mold apparatus to form a ceramic (or glass) includes a first mold portion having a first coefficient of thermal expansion and a second mold portion having a second coefficient of thermal expansion. In some embodiments, the first mold portion and/or the second mold portion are substantially immiscible with the ceramic material, such as silicon oxide, at a temperature greater than 600° C. In some embodiments, the first coefficient of thermal expansion and the second coefficient of thermal expansion are substantially similar to that of the glass or ceramic material. In some embodiments, the first coefficient of thermal expansion is different from the second coefficient of thermal expansion. In some embodiments, the first mold portion and the second mold portion contain a surface coating and a passivation layer.

摘要： In order to enable stable provision of an upward release tube-type ceramic filter used in a molten metal bath and having a side wall with a height of 300 mm or greater, this method for manufacturing a ceramic filter, which is an upward release tube-type integrally molded article for removing unwanted substances from molten metal, has: a step for kneading a mixture of an aggregate comprising ceramic particles, a prescribed binding agent, and water to prepare a base material; a step for integrally forming an upward release tube-type ceramic filter precursor from the prepared base material; step for drying the precursor; a step for providing a retainer for the dried precursor for supporting a side wall of the precursor; a step for subsequently sintering the precursor; and a step for removing the retainer after sintering.

The absorbent layer can also include pH modifying components. The absorbent layer can include nonwoven fabric. The apparatus can be applied to curing concrete after hydration water is applied to the curing concrete. The apparatus can also be used to enclose poured concrete members during transport of the members so as to continue the curing process during transport. The film can also be used as a barrier layer between the ground and poured concrete.

The liner allows a building material, for example, brick veneer, to be placed in the liner in a pattern. The pattern may be a soldier course that can formed over openings in the precast concrete wall. 摘要： A block reinforcement cage made from reinforcing material and adapted for loading within a machine during a block manufacturing process for molding a concrete U-wall construction block structure. The block cage includes an open aperture formed in each of its stem reinforcing portions. During the block manufacturing process, the first and second support members of a support mechanism are inserted within the open apertures formed in the stem reinforcing sections of the block cage, and cooperate with the open apertures of the block cage so as to (i) support the block cage when being loaded into a block manufacturing machine, (ii) define central apertures molded in each stem portion of the concrete U-wall construction block structure, and (iii) lift the molded concrete U-wall construction block when being unloaded from the machine.
