摘要: A method of determining a target value of a state variable includes preparing a mixture of the molding material and the gas with different test values of the state variable, and the mixture is respectively compressed or decompressed. In the compression or decompression step, the state variable of the mixture and/or a further state variable of the mixture is measured directly or indirectly, and determination values of a compression behavior variable characteristic of the compression behavior of the mixture are determined from the measurement values. A criterion directed to a solution state of the gas is checked, and a lowest or highest value of the state variable is deduced at which the gas is in solution in the molding material. The lowest or highest value of the state variable at which the gas is in solution in the molding material is used as the target value.

摘要: A temperature control system and method for regulating a liquid temperature in a recirculation system of a molding system includes determining an operating pressure of the liquid in the recirculation system, determining an operating temperature of the liquid in the recirculation system, receiving the operating pressure and the operating temperature, comparing the received operating temperature to a threshold temperature as a function of the operating pressure, and adjusting an output of a heat exchanger in the recirculation system when the operating temperature is beyond the threshold temperature.

摘要: An injection molding machine includes a cylinder that accommodates a molten resin, a discharging nozzle, a piston that discharges the molten resin from the discharging nozzle, and one or more processors configured to execute the following functions. The functions include calculating a target pressure at which a flow rate of the molten resin discharged from the discharging nozzle becomes an indicated flow rate, controlling a pressure of the molten resin in the cylinder such that the pressure becomes the target pressure, acquiring a temperature of the molten resin in the cylinder, and acquiring a pseudo-plastic viscosity corresponding to the temperature of the molten resin. The target pressure is calculated based on the indicated flow rate, the temperature of the molten resin, the pseudo-plastic viscosity, and the size of the discharging nozzle.

摘要: In order to reduce oscillations in process variables of an injection molding process, an injection molding machine may be operatively connected to a model database that stores models of injection molding machines and molds. A tuning controller may set initial gain values of a variable-gain proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller. To set the initial gains, the tuning controller may be configured to obtain, from the model database, a model for a first and second injection molding machines and a model for a mold. The tuning controller may analyze the models to determine a correlation between injection molding machine parameters and mold cycle performance for the mold. Accordingly, the tuning controller may apply the correlation to determine an initial gain value for a least one of the first, second, and third gains of the PID controller. The tuning controller may then set the initial gain values for the PID controller.

摘要: A molding injection pressure and a molding clamping force are determined in advance to obtain a parting opening amount, which is a predetermined gap, between a movable mold and a fixed mold of a mold during injection filling. The molding injection pressure and the molding clamping force are determined to obtain a molding injection pressure capable of molding a good product and a mold clamping force capable of molding a good product, respectively, thereby setting a specific molding condition, setting a fast injection speed from the start of injection, which is higher than the injection speed set by the specific molding condition, and setting a fast injection section for continuing the fast injection speed as a fast injection condition, mold-clamping the mold by the molding clamping force during molding, and setting the molding injection pressure to a limit pressure, injecting and filling resin into a mold by the fast injection condition from the start of injection, and injecting and filling resin by the specific molding condition when the fast injection section ends.
