    摘要: An anilox printing unit includes, as inking unit rolls, an ink applicator roll and an engraved roll mounted in rapid change roll sockets, for removing the engraved roll from the roll sockets and inserting another engraved roll into the roll sockets by an operator. The engraved roll is hollow and a temperature control fluid flows therethrough. The engraved roll and the ink applicator roll each have bearer rings. A device which presses the bearer rings of one inking unit roll against the bearer rings of the other inking unit roll has springs for compensating for diameter differences as a result of manufacturing tolerances between the bearer rings of the engraved roll and the bearer rings of the other engraved roll and for compensating for thermally induced diameter changes of the bearer rings of the engraved roll. A printing press having an anilox printing unit is also provided.

    摘要: The sheet-fed or web-fed printing machine comprises a main unit (1), at least one mobile carriage (2) adapted to be coupled to the main unit for cooperation therewith during printing operations and to be moved away from the main unit during maintenance operations, a control unit for controlling displacement of said mobile carriage toward and away from said main unit, and an access zone (9, 9′) surrounding at least partly the mobile carriage for allowing a human operator to get access to the main unit and mobile carriage, which access zone lies outside of the displacement path (10) of the mobile carriage. The printing machine further comprises detection means (11) for monitoring the access zone and detecting presence of a human operator within the access zone. The control unit is operatively connected to the detection means so as to interrupt or prevent displacement of the mobile carriage in case presence of a human operator is detected within the access zone by the detection means and before the human operator penetrates in the displacement path of the mobile carriage.

    摘要: An ink supply unit for a flexographic press that is convenient for exchange of an anilox roll and an order of colors to be printed is disclosed. A time for test printing can be shortened, thereby enhancing a working efficiency. A pivot frame can move between a printing position where an anilox roll is mounted on a stationary frame to engage a printing cylinder and an exchanging position where the anilox roll is spaced away from the stationary frame to disengage the printing cylinder. An ink level of a maximum amount of ink contained in an ink chamber is located near a contact position between an upper doctor blade and the anilox roll, when the pivot frame is located at the printing position. The ink level is located below a lower doctor blade, when the pivot frame is located at the exchanging position.

    摘要: A driving apparatus in a printing press includes a plate cylinder driven by a printing press motor, an inking device drive-coupled to the plate cylinder, and a driving connecting/disconnecting mechanism. The mechanism connects and disconnects transmission of driving from the plate cylinder to the inking device, and includes first and second gears which are engageable with each other, supported rotatably, and constantly drive-coupled to one and the remaining one, respectively, of the plate cylinder and inking device. The second gear has a second engaging portion engageable with a plurality of first engaging portions of the first gear which have the same shape and are equidistantly arranged in a rotational direction of the first gear. When the first and second engaging portions engage, the plate cylinder and inking device are drive-coupled; when they are disengaged, they are disconnected. The number of first engaging portions is set on the basis of a value related to the first gear, so that when the plate cylinder reaches a phase identical to that where the first and second engaging portions disengage, the first and second engaging portions can engage regardless of a driving connection ratio of one of the plate cylinder and inking device to the first gear.

As the position of the second and third rollers is adjusted for wear, the carrier plate follows the stops via the couplings so that the first roller automatically follows the second and third rollers during operation.

A pitch of a screw to be screwed into the supporting lever 14 and a pitch of a screw to be screwed into the rolling member supporting lever 25 are different from each other so that a relative position between the supporting lever 14 and the rolling member supporting levers 25 is made alterable.
